Joyous Journey is....underwhelming

Go ahead and call me a casual, go to Hello Kitty Online, play retail, etc., have at it. I resubbed just to see how much of a difference the bonus XP buff made and when the rested xp wore off it still felt slow to me.

1-60 should take 24 hours played for someone questing and levelling trade profs. 60-70 should take another 10. At this point (playing on and off for 17 years), we’ve all been there, done that.

In Classic I made it to 50 before I got burned out and quit. Didn’t play TBC because you couldn’t boost a horde paladin. I want to do endgame stuff with my friends, not invest the equivalent of multiple workweeks just to get to starting line. I’d gladly pay a monthly sub to do that, but I already re-cancelled as it stands now. Just my 2 cents.

The profs part is icing on the troll cake.

No cookie is big enough for the lazy or entitled. They shouldn’t have put any boost here.

This legit. People have become so normalized to retails casual ezness that they want it in classic despite classic literally being meant to be the opposite of retail.

yep.

yes, you can spam sl crafting fast.

its makes nothing of value though. ship that off to a disenchanter. NO one is buying that junk from the base line to 60 gear.

Most the good stuff is behind rep locked crap, which at this point, yeah, you spam ZM for better too. or go win/lose a few epic bgs.

Once you’ve experienced something like 3x or 7x rates…yeah 50% boost feels like nothing. It’s 1.5x rate, and still very much blizzlike pace.

Yep, it got me to start leveling my warrior again. Got it to level 58 last night and am now ready for Outland.

I’ve also been leveling but questing for the third time through outlands is so dull. I would’ve prefered they added RDF early with no xp buff and be able to do BF, AC or UB that no groups ever form for than have an slightly easier time questing

Nah it’s fine. The truth is you are expecting modern day leveling rates and everyone is so obsessed with endgame. This is tbc classic it’s a grind and if it’s not for you that’s fine.

If you don’t want to play, don’t play.

Fully agree, which is why I said I had already re-cancelled.

They need to add some fun events in the world like in legion pre patch where the demons would attack places like the crossroads and you defended for sick exp.

If you complete the 1-5 starter area congratulations you’ve done every type of quest in wow now go do it 2,000 more times to max level.

The game is old and we’ve all done these same quests over and over so yea it is boring.

I’m sorry but the “hurdur it’s classic it’s hard and a grind” is getting old too like bro you love doing this? You really love killing murlocs for fins over and over? You out here dying while questing? Legit how is it hard? It’s just a boring time sink.

There’s a difference between difficulty and something just being a long slog. I like that in Classic if you aren’t careful you can easily be killed by aggroing to many mobs or not watching out for patrols, unlike retail where its actually pretty hard to die while out in the world.

sounds like all you need is the 70 boost, hang in there its not long until then

That’s what a lot of the “Classic Players” don’t understand. Making it harder to consume content that the game isn’t balanced around being endgame isn’t rewarding, it’s just inconvenient

where did you get these values from? can you cite source?
