I’m not saying that they aren’t. Keep in mind, there are fewer than 3K unique characters logging raids on Skyfury (where I play), a server that is in my opinion quite active and healthy, and happens to be locked.
Is it possible that Atiesh has significant numbers of individuals playing many max-level characters, and only raid logging on them while not contributing to the active leveling world in a way that makes it unique or at least different from Skyfury? Certainly.
So, just so I’m following correctly…Classic won’t be truly classic if it includes classic features? This is what you saying? To be truly classic, classic needs to omit things from classic? To be truly authentic it must be non-authentic?
Of course. But that’s got nothing to do with what I said.
Is there any reason to believe that the individual playerbase, playstyle, and activity on Atiesh is significantly different from that on Skyfury on average?
I doubt we are going the same way. If we were your hunter wouldn’t still be 11 while if there was an easy way to find a group, like rdf, this warrior wouldn’t still be 20
JJ is great… If you have parties to group with to gain the exp in the first place. Wow classic is a lousy single-player game. It’s a pretty good MMO. Restricting the ability for players to play it as an MMO at lower levels is bad for the game.
And as it is, even on Bene during peak that’s still very difficult at lower levels which means it’s just downright impossible for many.
I can’t even imagine what it must seem like for truly new players atm…
And it’s actually unfortunate for everyone because mage-boosting doesn’t even kick in until about level 69 for the most part. So even prospective boosters still have to level as intended for all of Wow and early TBC content.
The most important thing about any game. Fun. The lack of fun leveling to cap by solo questing while doing few if any dungeons with other people because I can’t find a group.
I understood it perfectly. You claimed we’re going the same way. I doubt we are and gave you the reason I think we aren’t going the same way. Perhaps you’re the one who didn’t understand. Though I also doubt rereading will help you since the most likely scenario is that you’re a lying troll.
Anti-rdf posters have no concept of fun. Have you noticed how every single one says if RDF was in the game that everyone would just be sitting afk in a city queuing endlessly? Because that’s as far as their imagination can reach.
The concept that other players play for different reasons is literally beyond their comprehension. All they understand is: find the most efficient path and do that. Which of course is not how most players play. Well, most players before the mass exodus because Blizz eliminated the choice and freedom that comes with RDF. So all that’s left is to play one way. Which stinks of Retail design.
In any event, all I see is: “You just don’t want to quest.” “You just want to sit afk in Org.” “You just want to get carried.”
And I wonder to myself wtf happened to these people that they’ve forgotten this is just a freaking video game. Some players just want to chill out, relax, and enjoy the content. It’s not some giant mystery. But they take it so seriously….”This person wants to actually enjoy dungeons!!! I laugh at your tears!!!”
Yeah that’s the great community that no-rdf has cultivated.
No you didn’t. You don’t know how to read or understand analogies.
Notice how again your only response to people is that they’re all liars and trolls? Do you think this is maybe why Blizzard has ignored this for almost a year now?
I think any RDF would be a good start because it would significantly lower the barriers to grouping at lower levels.
Howver even though I think x-server was a big part of what did damage to the community, for smaller servers it’s probably largely a necessity for leveling dungeons.
It shouldn’t be too hard for them to implement it on a scale in a similar way to how they do arena match-making. You start out searching in a narrow range, ie within the server, but if after X minutes you still can’t find a match the search is expanded to include players from other servers. So you’re still prioritizing same-server groups, AND if you’re from a small server you’re more likely to be grouped with other like-minded “small server people” since players on mega-servers will more often find groups within their servers first.
Seems like a good solution that preserves “server identity” as much as possible while still allowing an outlet for people on small servers (and really everyone off-peak) who really have few, if any, options for running leveling dungeons which is really a waste of some pretty decent content. Not to mention one of the best parts of the game, grouping with other people.
It’s not my only response. It’s part of my response to you. You just focus on that part because it hits you harder because you know it’s true. While you ignore the rest of my post because you can’t come up with a rational response to it.
And anyone else that proves your fallacious arguments wrong.
I focus on that part because it translates to you conceding your argument and its a reoccurring theme for you. I encourage you to keep doing it, it only discredits your arguments and stances which is why you’ve been ignored for almost a year.
I didn’t ignore the rest of your post, I addressed the relevant portion. You don’t know how to read or understand analogies. Prove me wrong by telling me what you believe my analogy is saying.
Not anyone else. Just you and a few others who obviously lie. Anyone who has spent some time on the internet should have learned that many people are lying when they post. And any one with an ounce of discernment has noticed that many people prefer the fictions they post to reality. Most people ignore that reality even when they’re smart enough to see it. I’m simply willing to point it out when I see it. If you’re not a liar or a fool you will acknowledge that this is true. You can claim you’re not one of the liars nor are you one of the marks the liars target. But you can’t reasonably refute what I’ve just posted.
The people who think like you join my dungeon group then pull 1/3 the dps the healer is and forgot they hadn’t trained their new pet. Refused to use aspect of the viper because they weren’t a try hard and just AAed 3/4 of the dungeon.
“Lmao it’s just a game guys”
Literally your post is giving me flashbacks of this loser during my weekend. They logged off right after probably because they wanted the last word.
Sadly with cross realm rdf he’d go make some other group’s dungeon painful.
