Received a really good ring from the Weekly TW quest only to find out that it’s ineligible for the Magnificent Jeweler’s Setting due to not being from TWW. Hoping that this is considered a bug.

Confirmed that the Magnificent Jeweler Setting does not work on rings or neck pieces obtained from Timewalking.
For reference, here are links to multiple reports in the bug forums:

Got a ring from Timewalking Black Temple, and I am not allowed to put the Magnificent Jeweler’s Settings on it which add’s the Sockets, even though its a Champion Track Item and usable within this Expansion.
This is an issue with Heroic gear that dropped in this week’s Time Walking event. I received a level 610 heroic ring, Band of Abyssal Lord. I attempted to add a gem socket to the ring using a Magnificent Jeweler Setting. When I attempt to add the gem setting, I receive an error message stating, “That item cannot be modified.” I am guessing the bug exists because the loot came from a Time Walking raid in the Burning Crusade era, even though loot is now current as of War Within.

Throughout Dragonflight none of neck items from Timewalking could have sockets added, so this may be “by design” and not a bug.
