It’s highly contingent on Interrupts because there’s a lot of one-shot mechanics. I asked someone who completed 8 and they were saying they did it on Comms to coordinate Interrupts which is just not great.
I Just kept re-entering the instance till I got condemn at any heath and condem knockdown as my first 2 options , then I went all defensive +rage gen including having shield wall up for 5 mins
The rare boss layer is the biggest booster you can get to everything.
I’ve seen others say this, but this feels like a flawed design. If the whole thing is dependent on RNG, why not let us choose one power on walking in. And let the other two be RNG.
Torghast is not designed for every spec friendly and it’s annoying.
There’s so many bosses and mobs that require an interrupt, but if you play a moonkin, that’s a minute cooldown. If you play a healer, you don’t have one at all unless you’re a shaman. Etc.
This is how I beat Layer 4 at ilvl230ish, lmao.
I just re-entered until I got the “Aspect of the Turtle Duration Increased and can cast while it’s up” and “Feign Death Resets the cooldown of your aspects.”
Infinite Aspect of the Turtle. You might take damage every now and then from AoE attacks, (and somehow some attacks go through the turtle randomly) but in general, you’re invincible lol.
Exactly! 3% versatility sounds nice but you need at least 20 of those to come close to some other abilities and who the hell thought of reducing shield slam cd powerup was a good idea ??
I do not mind the randomness but there should be somewhat equal value if it going to drop randomly. The vendor before each boss even says the same thing . I would rather have them increase the phantasm drops and give us a selection of powers ups to buy during the start of each stage.
Ya know it’s been years, but when I tried alliance out for a while, I noticed they were really bad at simple things, let alone raiding and things that required effort. There was a lot of wiping when we shouldn’t have. I went back to horde after a month or so because it became an annoyance.
I spent the first half taking ever single defensive power. After I was pretty much immortal, I started taking the offensive stuff. I’ve carried some friends with this strat.
I cleared 8 gauntlet solo at 240 ilvl the 1st week it was out. It’s so easy. I got tower ranger the day it was first possible. Just gotta get the right powers and be bbussing.
I took under 10 seconds per full floor at layer 8 level btw. Very ez
