Ive had a token on the AH for >1 year

Now i cant buy any with gold, because my current one wont sell. I bought it when i re-started my account at the end of legion.

The one i cant sell is on a med-pop server and costs 200k gold, so it wont sell anytime soon with current prices. Is there a way i can:

  1. delist this auction
  2. repost it on a different toon on a different server

You might want to ask this in the CS forums… this is by far the strangest thing I think I’ve heard of involving tokens. I’ve never once heard of one not selling. I applaud you on your patience if nothing else

Thanks! Ill give that a go

Something is clearly broken if this is true. Tokens are not server exclusive in pricing and currently are around 128k unless you are playing EU. Your token should have sold by now. Open a ticket or like Zipster said, head over to the CS froums.

In cases like this, blizzard should just automatically buy it. I think they should just buy it after one week. They should gaurantee that it sells within a week.

`It doesn’t matter what the current value of a token. When you buy one from blizzard for you to sell on the ah, the ui tells you the current value of the token, and that is the amount you get regardless of when it sells.

For example. You buy a token to sell on the ah when the value is 200k. You list it (and you don’t get to set the value, Blizz does). The token market crashes 30mins later and they’re being sold on the ah for 100k. Doesn’t matter to yours. Someone will by yours for 100k, but you’ll receive 200k. Opposite also happens. You buy for 100k and the value shoots up to 200k. When yours sells you only get 100k. It’s happened plenty of times, albeit with much smaller swings in pricing.

Open a ticket dude. The way tokens work is if no one buys your token within the time limit of it being in the AH, blizzard buys it and sends you the gold.

I think i opened a ticket properly. Is there supposed to be a notification or tracker i get.?
I go to help, open ticket, write my problem, and then it just sends me to a “wow token commonly asked questions” page that doesnt help me. Will i still get personal assistance?

Really? I thought no gold was generated for the sake of tokens? Always heard it was player gold.

Im 90% sure blizzard sends the gold if no one buys.
Ive bought a token once a month almost for the past 2 expansions and everyone single one has sold first try

Oh I always figured someone was buying. Keep hearing how all these AH pros have like 2 years of game time saved up.

You’re supposed to get the quoted price when you list it regardless of what the player that bought it paid for it.

If it says you’ll get 200k and it sells for 120, you still get 200.

It not selling for a year smells like a bug.

Submitting bug report, thanks.

I’d also keep a ticket open, so you can get help. Bug reports won’t get your problem solved.

Never heard of that happening before or have I had any issues with tokens since they were introduced in WoD.

Neither have I but looks like the OP is correct.

This is a bug and you probably should have ticketed it a long time ago.
