I barely come in here anymore. What are people thinking these days about WoW? Is DF considered a win or loss or are people indifferent? Are people generally content these days or pissy or what? Any plausible leaks on the next expansion yet?

Best expansion since Legion tbh. Had some rough spots, what with a few story beads being silly, some of the VA work being questionable, etc.
On the WoW forums? I don’t think we ever leave the latter.

Wow sucks and it’s dying, but people are still subbed because…?
The expansion is terrible and people can’t wait for the next one but are already disappointed in it before it even gets announced.
There’s a leak about the other side of the world. Some people are convinced, others aren’t.
Everyone is miserable because their class specifically is the worst in the game, has low dps, is under represented in mythic raids and they have to many buttons. (7 core spells and 3 CD’s is too much these days)
Nothing’s changed.

…because “the best since the last good one” is a common way to phrase this sort of thing? Would you rather I say “It’s the best expansion since Legion and also it’s better than WoD and Cata?”

BC was great for its era, because we didn’t know better, but it’s one of those things I can’t go back to.

BC has little going for it besides nostalgia.
The story was stupid, the gameplay was simplistic, and the zones were ugly. It also introduced sky swimming flight, which spoiled the playerbase and got us stuck with it until they could finally add real flight this expansion the way it should have been all along.

Yeah, hence the nostalgia.
It was fun at the time because it’s what was there. Hell, I loved Kara and still do.
Doesn’t change the fact that Dragonflight is a better expansion.

Haven’t seen you in here advocating for a new piggy mount in quite some time and no one has taken up the slack.
People are on both sides of the fence on all of it. The newest outrage is Pathfinder being added, which I agree is a little arbitrary. Other than that, it’s the terrible rng in limited time events and some rage bait nonsense sprinkled in.

Indeed, I still rank Karazhan as one of the best raids ever.
It’s also one of the simplest. Partially for being a 10 man, but also partially for the era it was created in.

The story for it made zero sense - why is it crawling with ghosts and why is there a whole harem wing - but the vibes were immaculate so I’ll forgive a few “go kill Medivh’s robot butler and also his dad because reasons” handwaves.
