My profile pic has finally updated.
Although the “straight ahead” view doesn’t properly display how some of the choices look. The gaunts very much match the color-tone of the Tusks, and all you see is the front-edge of this version of Gorehowl, which looks green. The enchant I have on it (sandblasting or w/e) actually make the rest of the weapon also match the color of the Tusks.
Overall I was going for mostly colors to match the Tusks, but also some tones to go with my skin color and tattoos.
I also chose the Wrathion backpack (which you can’t see) and … I’m not totally sure on that, either. But for now, it looks ok.

And, again, the still-picture doesn’t do it justice, because those shades have ANIMATED lights that go around the top of them to REALLY put them over the top. lol They’re serious bling. XD
I’m an Eng, so I might eventually go with a set of Eng goggles that are yellow’ish/Tusk colored. They have a real “hardcore combat” aesthetic to them that I like.
But for now, I’m just in full sassy strut mode and … oh yeah… these glassy fit all the way.
edit: oh, thanks! That just made me realize I don’t have my ACTUAL helmet on… what I’m wearing is just something with a Tinker on it so I can collect scraps for Eng stuff. lolol
I’ll have to put my REAL helmet on and xmog that later.

Which shoulders are these?
The uh … Mythic Sylvanas shoulders. lol Not sure what you’re asking.
In the “Sanctum of Domination” raid from SL, the Sylvanas fight, on Mythic difficulty, she drops “Spires of Broken Hope.”
They’re a very dark black, very metallic looking set, with three skulls that come to a bladed points. They have a bright red mist that comes out from underneath them.
It’s an utterly INCREDIBLE looking set of armor.
Is it just the generic SoD plate set? I was just curious if there was a unique model from Sylvie
afaik, there is only one set of shoulders that she drops, it’s just that each difficulty has their own color variant, and all the other color variants are weak (ymmv).
The dark black with deep red is just… I mean… nothing comes close.
edit: I’m looking through some of that set now and … it gets full marks for being a black/very dark grey set … but most of it looks like flipping chainmail.
I mean… immediate circular file for pretty much every piece with that look.
But the shoulders look BA times a thousand! lol

I kind of lucked out and they dropped while I was clearing SoO for something else. Same deal with Invincible and Ashes. You’re much more likely to get a rare drop if you don’t care.

Gratz. Im also farming it, be it only on one character. Hell if i get the mount first i wont try and get the tusks
Also happy your happy about getting it. Most of the time when i get a item i have been farming for a long time i sigh and think “thx god i dont need to do that anymore”. Prob another reason i dont play as much as i used to

You can skip the rp by kiting a slim to the boss and killing the slime on the boss
Boss despawns and respawns attackable. Takes lees time to respawn then the rp
