In less than 3 weeks we went from 13k people in queue, 6+ hour queue times to a completely dead LFG with an empty Northrend map to boot.
I was leveling my alt on Grobb today to kill time before the DF pre-patch on Tuesday, and for most of the day the 70 - 80 LFG was completely deserted.
There are virtually no groups going anymore for even the most latest content, and I took a peek over at the 1 - 70 LFG and it’s completely empty.
Due to the decision to cripple the playerbase’s ability to group properly via removing RDF and instead selling Lv 70 boosts we now have a playerbase of people who are all 80, who are not willing to level alts and are not willing to even continue playing content after a couple lockouts due to how easy it is to get loot.
At this point even RDF won’t be able to save Wrath, the damage has been done and Classic may never recover.

Do not let your hatred for me blind you, the reality of the situation is that RDF has ruined Classic community and has made the game worse off than before.
Not to mention half the servers are populated by DK bot armies as well, investing further time into this game is naive.

Yep it’s over. Anti-RDF won with their Retail-esque Manual Gatekeeping Finder, and now we’re getting other Retail features like Mythic+ Heroic+.
The irony is that they’re turning WOTLK into retail just to leave to play Dragonflight a short while from now anyway. When they realize Retail sucks again they’ll come crawling back to WOTLK and insist the devs add pet battles and furries.

I don’t even think they’ll come back, I predict if Wrath flopped this hard and DF flops as well, they’ll just leave WoW all together.
A customer can only take so much before they move on.
Again I know what I experienced and you can call it a lie but it is my truth and I will stand by it, I have had very limited amounts of groups the whole day and most of them just keep falling apart.
To the credit of Grobb, shout out to the Prot Pally that did OK + Nerub back to back, that guy pulled big and after those two runs I had no other bites.

I can SAY I was in NYC yesterday and it was deserted. And while other people may not have been with me the entire day… they can still reasonably state that my assertion is incorrect. Reality doesnt change just because you believe something. That’s not how metaphysics works

Agreed. Blizz had their chance to give Wrath a healthy life but they purposely decided to give it cancer by not including RDF therefore it is now dying a slow painful death which is horrible to see! The damage is done and with DF launching soon its RIP Wrath Classic.

If people want further proof of this, almost every YouTuber/Streamer that initially brought players to Wrath are now slowly swapping out and going back to Retail for DF.
Wrath’s time in the spotlight is up, Blizzard fumbled it.
No my friend, I give people the benefit of the doubt because I have no reason to not trust you. When someone makes a post talking about their experience with anti-RDF, I relate to them and even when someone is talking about pro-RDF I don’t dismiss them but rather embrace them as they are both parts to the issue.
You need to learn to look past your view and accept others experiences.
Let me give you my current perdicment, and you can verify it too if you’re on Grobb.
I am on LFG, I have 5 activities selected (LK Norms - DTK/UP/Nexus/OK/Nerub)
There are 19 people listed for 5 activities, out of which only 1 is a healer and 0 are tanks and the rest are DPS.
I have roughly been in this LFG queue for about 30 - 40 min now since starting this thread and reading the forums, and I have not gotten a single bite, whisper or invite.
Throughout the day, this has been my experience.
There is a severe shortage in key role players and people are just not forming groups anymore in LFG for dungeons, RDF would’ve fixed this and you know it too.

Considering Group Finder is a Retail system (no, it’s not a “Wrath system”, it was a game system added in Wrath), then I would say NOT having it makes it LESS like Retail.
