This ability still hits for less than half a single cast of mutilate even if it hits 5 completely naked targets. On a completely defenseless critter, Shuriken toss hits for 80 damage, lets compare this to blizz’s favorite class the shaman and their magma totem that hits an unlimited number of targets for ~100 damage even as enhancement:
Shuriken toss: requires 30 energy and 1 GCD for every “tick”, can hit ranged targets but only 5 maximum. Hits for about 50 to 30 damage on sunken temple mobs.
Magma totem: requires 500 mana and 1 GCD from a class that essentially has infinite mana, does 10 ticks of damage per cast and has no target limit. Hits for 80-100 damage per target.
The saddest part of shuriken tickle is that even if it was a baseline ability, I still wouldn’t use it other than to harass someone trying to hearth.

Was the shaman afk with a magma totem down when you died to it this time?
Edit: Also give rouges toggle bladeflurry aoe give up on shuriken tickle.
I mean, who’s to say that most shamans aren’t just afk? class is just that easy
If Rogues get a usable AoE finisher, Shuriken Toss can stay the way it is.
I wouldn’t even use it to spin the flag in AB
Finisher would be decent, but not really practical, AoE is primarily for trash pulls, and most trash doesn’t live long enough to get reliable finishers off on them.
Yes please. Crimson tempest would synergize with carnage and make aoe sustainable.

But yet you are asking for an ability to be buffed which is used in trash? Some rogues have the lowest IQ.

I hate the idea of Shuriken to begin with. Rogues are not ninjas and WoW has no Ninja/Samurai culture.
It should have been tied to Jungle Troll Axe Throwers from WC2, NE sentinels with their glaives or dwarf/gnome/goblin black powder weapons.
Some ideas:
-
Ricochet (replaces Shuriken toss) Fire your ranged weapon at your enemy dealing ranged weapon damage and also strike up to 3 additional nearby targets. Awards 1 combo point. (Scales off AP). grants auto-shot
-
Shuriken toss now grants auto-shot but must have a throwing weapon equipped. (Add more unique throwing weapons to game or buff ravenholdt ones)
New ability:
- Unload: a channeling combo point generator that Unloads a deadly salvo against your target for 3 seconds, generating one combo point per 0.5 seconds. Costs 60 energy
Add runes to improve blade flurry

Yes, I’m asking for an ability used on trash to be buffed, what exactly are you not following?
But you are against having an AoE finisher to compliment the AoE builder. You must be trolling or have no idea how Rogues work. Sit down and take the L.
Since in immersion rogues are like thieves and like to steal things from others. Why don’t they let us steal bladestorm from warriors and increase the damage and duration based on how many combo points we spend? We can rename the ability to “summon breaking benjamin playlist”
Shuriken damage needs to either be increased significantly or at least have a chance to apply a homunculi-type debuff on everyone it hits down the chain with application chance decreasing after each target down the line.
You’re arguing with points you think I said. All I just said that an spammable aoe would be more useful than an aoe finisher, if you have ever played a rogue you would understand why an aoe finisher wouldn’t be a better solution. Don’t bother sitting down to take your L, just take it and go.
I’m gonna ignore you and your dumb Rogue take. Take the L and move on, go play a class that you can actually understand.
Ehh, I like ninjas more than pirates. Naruto > One Piece.
So I love the ninja theme. It seems like Subtlety mostly embodies the sneaky/ninja theme.
While Combat mostly embodies pirates.
However, yes, Shuriken Toss definitely needs a buff. It’s almost not even worth using.

Blademasters, Shadopan, Syndicate, Subtlety/Assassination trees, and the look of rogue tiers throughout the years just might say otherwise…
blademasters are not rogues
they use a 2h sword, buddy
Reread his statement, buddy. There is two words there and Blademaster is 100% the latter, buddy.
