Its time to buff Shuriken Tickle

Blademasters are not ninjas nor are they anything like Japanese Ninja culture nor were they in Warcraft RTS games.

SoD is vanilla era, the Kung Fu Panda era of Shadowpan didn’t exist. With the exception of the washed up turtles and easter eggs of brewmasters there is no other reference to Pandaria, and none in pre-WoW warcraft games.

Syndicate and Assassination trees have zero real world cultural references, the Syndicate/Ravenholdt manor seems to be more inspired by fantasy novels like Fritz Leiber’s Lankhmar novellas or Gary Gygax’s Gord the Rogue novels (set in the old 1980’s AD&D World of Greyhawk).

I don’t care for whatever retail designers did to Rogues after Wrath, it was clear that the original world designer was losing creative control over his world by that stage.

Blademasters were 100% in WC3. It’s one of the hero units in the game. They aren’t ninja, they are samurai. Which is what you said doesn’t exist in the game. They do, and have since before WoW was a thing.

I disagree completely that they were not meant to be ninja inspired considering their T1 and T3 sets are literally ninja/shinobi inspired. Tier 2 isn’t that much far off either, but the color isn’t very stealthy.

Whatever you need to tell yourself dude.

If you really were ignoring it you wouldn’t be posting, now you’re just malding for no reason

I like the spells I dont like the name Ricochet tho!

I know they existed in WC3, and while Blademasters of the Burning Blade clan were Samurai inspired, the rest of the Orc culture was nothing like Samurai/Japanese culture. Blademasters in World of Warcraft game mechanics terms were more like a cross between Warriors (Bladestorm) and Mages (Mirror Image). If anything Orc Culture appears to be more inspired by the Mongols.

The throwing weapon units in Warcraft RTS were Troll axe-throwers in WC2, Troll Headhunters in WC3 (who used spears) and the Night Elf Wardens which is where Fan of Knives and Poisoned Knife/Shadowstrike come from.

There isn’t really any other word in the english language to describe a projectile bouncing around though. I used it because it could pertain to any projectile, whether bullet, arrow, rock, knife, axe or shuriken.

I am surprised that they haven’t done a ranged channeling combo point builder yet though. Rift: Planes of Telara did it with the Bard Soul (talent tree) to great effect.

Each orc clan had very different cultures overall. That’s why they have had so much in-fighting and the First War was a big deal since it united the orcs. We don’t really know their culture fleshed out since the only glimpses we have ever had since they were introduced in WC3 is from WoW. They didn’t even get a big spotlight in WoD. The point being that Samurai have been in the game for over 20 years despite you saying there are none.

The spells they take from hero units in WC3 have very, very little to do with the class system in WoW. The warlock class is pretty much the Blood Mage then.

They had Bandits, Rogues, and Assassin creep mobs in WC3. They even had stealth, throwing weapons, and dealt poison. They even had bucklers like the original rogue design. So again, you are just dead wrong here.

I dont think shuriken toss is actually for dpsing. It’s for tanks to get snap threat on mobs for a pull.

I think it could use a threat and/or damage buff, but nothing too outrageous. Rogues shouldn’t really be an aoe class.

I’m fine with this. I understand rogues shouldn’t really be an aoe class. But Shuriken Toss really needs to be better. The rune is almost unusable.
