I am doing better than I did s1 DF, I still think several of these dungeons are overtuned and should be adjusted. I struggled to even get a 5 for Grim Batol but have untimed 10s for 3 other dungeons.
Tanks and healers already got a ton of hate from ungrateful DPS, and making it harder to get the same gear you did you previous seasons only increases that tension.
This is a player made issue, and the solution has been tanks and healers playing with friends rather than pugs.
Dear God yes. The irony is bitter but not for me! I’ve been gaslit by so many healers over the years. Back in BFA, I used to keep a note log on my phone of which healing classes were present each good, medium or disastrous run.
I think it was S3 or S4 that, on my prot warrior, priests were a death sentence. Druids were okay and everything else was excellent.
I’m sure you’ve all experienced it at some stage. Smashing your way through a M+ in complete zen silence like a rockstar. Come back to the exact dungeon and difficultly level only for the heals to leave and abuse you with sh*t like:
“Pull your head out of your ar*e you autistic!”
Had to scratch my head at that one, then found out 3 years later I am actually autistic .
Good for you. that puts you in the top half a percent of players. Only HALF A PERCENT have even untimed 10s right now… If you say that’s okay… then you’re an elitist.
The other 99.5%+ of players, will forever be “behind” on possible myth vault. Which feels pretty crappy.
Personally I’d put vault myth track back at 8 so don’t hate me. But there are definitely some dungeons that are worse than others this season, whatever your comfortable key level may be.
I’d put it at 9, gilded crests at 8. Makes for a much smoother progression. You get hero in chest at 7, crests at 8, myth at 9. And myth with 3 more ilvl at 10 would be cool.
Right now there’s a lot of ‘no progress’ key levels that are overshadowed by delves. And I like delves, don’t wanna poo poo the delvers, but M+ deserves a smoother progression track than it has right now.
I mean realistically speaking most of those players are serious contenders for obtaining the 0.1% title. They likely were always going to jump out ahead of you, and then they would be in keys you wouldn’t see anyway. Practically speaking you have the other 99.5% of players to play and compete with anyway.
I started tanking this expansion. Im ilvl 600 on my warrior.
I quickly learned that puggint is just not the best route.
Dps dont interupt dont do simple mechanics and its just a mess. I came across 4 other players while doing a +2 we did well together. I seek them out and they seek me out, pugging is just not worth it to me.
For every bad tank there is 50 bad dps. Thats too much to risk for the short time i can play every day.
Yes, im used to running with 4 other friends, i was ret paladin , my buddy was prot paladin other friend feral druid, we got shaman healer and mage dps.
When dps interupt and do mechanics it makes it much easier on tank and healer.
My work schedule changed so im playing more by myself now, except on weekends. Tanking gets me into content faster so i went prot warrior for TWW,
My opinion and my friends share the same opinion, is that dps make or break a group not healer or tank.
i honestly quit tanking M+ due to the garbage decisions devs made to tanking. i refuse to tank a key until they fix tanks and make them like they were before these nerfs. no one wants a squishy tank and no tank wants to get 2 shot in a key. before the nerf i was doing 20’s easily / 10’s in season 4. tanks just feel bad and unfun.
