the vanilla ones were to upgrade your dungeons sets, they weren’t super useful but extremely fun to try to run like undead strat on a timer
Yeah thats my point, thats why i have been saying Delves give out to much loot, as you can easily get 8 keys a week.
If you run 5 man group of all DPS, and you do a 5 echo turn in, you can easily get 150+ shards, i got i think like 165 or 170 one time as my highest. So each week with 10 echos you can get another 3 keys and some change with echos + shards from world quests.
solo echo’s kinda suck, but my wife never wants to do them lol
Dont do them solo, always group for them, you get such a big return. IDK if you can do them in a raid or not. If you can…i can only imagine how much shards you can get.
They weren’t in any way tied to the speed the dungeon was run at, which was the point you had made and they had replied to. Your specific term was “time attack”. This did not exist in wow in any form prior to M+.
There were, possibly, a handful of achievements tied to certain things being done quickly. That’s it.
the dungeon sets required you to do things like run undead strat in 60 min or less
if you didn’t you failed
I mean… I forgot that was even a thing, that’s how relevant those timers were. That would be like if m+ timers were doubled from what they are now. But yes, I guess you are technically right.
He is talking about some of the Dungeon set 2 pieces requiered you to do things in a set amount of time. I think the Warrior one you needed to run stat in a given time in order to save someone or something.
They probably making season 1 juicey just to increase player interaction, then the following seasons will dial back the loot. (I’d assume)
I do like the idea of solo content rewarding normal raid gear frequently, heroic raid gear rarely, while giving them a hamster wheel of their own to run on.
they weren’t really useful, specially since if you could run strat in the time you probably had raid gear…
So do I which is why im fine with the concept of devels and the reward level.
I just dont think for how easy the delves are, they should be giving out 8 normal raid level items and potentially 3 heroic items from maps (I have heard people getting up to 3 maps per week) + The vault at the end.
Hell i was full champ gear by week 2 because of delves, it was stupid.
Not true, you did not need raid gear to clear those in time, it helped sure, but not needed.
there’s actually no limit on maps, just your luck
Eh, i feel like there is a limit somewhere but even still being able to get access to heroic level gear that easy is insane.
Yea the balancing needs to be looked at for sure.
It’s not meant to be easy obtained gear, just easy to access content.
eh, its been nearly 20 years and i was raiding even back then, so i probably skew things
Honestly if they jsut cut the echos out, it would be fine.
The echo memories are honestly super lame any way.
4, potentially 5 champ items a week from delves is quite fair and generous.
if they do anything like that next season GD will explode
I look forward to seeing how bad it is this afternoon.
