Ok glad we had that talk
Iām not usually like that, but when people come at me and I can tell theyāre just rude- Iām not going to engage with them.
Realistically, if they implemented it I think it the people that are not happy with non-queued groups now will very soon not be happy with the difficulty of M+ in queued groups.
But hey, maybe that would push Blizzard to pull the reins back on dungeon difficulty a bit which I personally donāt think would be a bad idea considering the negative feedback of this season compared to the last two seasons.
Exactly. Whoever came up with the idea to make stops less impactful and interrupts on their own more impactful needs a stern talking to.
And realistically, people are going to complain, no matter what thatās a tale as old as time. I donāt think that should ever dissuade anyone from trying new things.
No, heās right. I donāt run M+ so I have no room to be talking about something I know nothing about.
You literally havenāt run any M+ this season at all, just like me.
Yes, because Iām somehow completely unable to garner information from spectating it and having past experience. That makes so much sense.
Thereās a reason the numbers are down for mythic plus runs.
Run your own key so you can invite whoever you want.
Wow, Iāve never heard of that one before
Thatās actually so relevant to the discussion. Thank you.
Wow weāve never read a post about this before.
You havenāt? Well, Iām glad to have been your first. Nothing like being a pioneer in the field.
You donāt run it, so you donāt know the content. Making posts to change content you donāt even do is nonsensical at best. But mostly just ridiculous behavior. Donāt speak on what you donāt know.
Stay in your lane. M+ aināt it. Bye.
Iām not asking anybody to change the content. Iām asking for a new system to be added to the game. Why donāt you ask yourself why youāre so upset over this?
Bye.
That immediately made me think of groups being put together with a spriest, boomy and demo lock.
The problem with queued m+ is that WoW players have been kinda conditioned to a point where queued content comes with the expectation of success. Queues work in other games because theyāre PvP, half the teams win and half lose so the average win rate of a given match is always 50%. There is no expected success rate for queued M+, and by the nature of that there are going to be tonnes of runs where nobody wins.
Right now, everything that goes into a mythic+ run is a player made choice. Whoās in the group, how well they do, etc. Once you add an element that is not player driven you effectively add a scapegoat, failure is no longer due to the decisions of the group it now the fault of Blizzard for putting you in the group to begin with.
Beyond that, what reason do tanks / healers have to engage with this system? They already have an easier time getting into groups that contain players they chose to play with and are going to have much higher success rates.
I think since this system doesnāt exist in the game and people are already engaging, and for the most part enjoy the LFG style, itās very easy to hand wave the number of players that would absolutely partake in this mode.
As far as expected success rates, these things will work themselves out. Or perhaps Blizzard would change the way mythic plus functioned in general. I also inversely think players that succeed in this solo queue system would actually have more merit to their skill level. With LFG you can have people saying āoh this guy gets carriedā or whatever else. Solo queue is completely on you.
While having solo shuffle would be cool6. . I think you need to add some stipulations
- At 10 deaths you can leave
- If key depletes you can leave
- Match making needs to include a blood lust and brez
- You can report none helpful players IE people who dont interrupt do mechanics or cc. And they get locked out or demoted.
- Add a demotion feature you lose IO or matchmaking score or whatever for failing
If these are added no one will use it as it will be pure chaos and suck.
Sure. Iām fully open to any kinds of quality changes that theyād have to include. They already are looking to change the current LFG mythic plus format/time limit/death counter things anyway according to surveys.
We have base content for a reasonā¦heroic dungeons and LFR are for casual players. You want to do harder stuff then you have to take the time to form a proper group for it.
Fair take for sure.
fair request but i wouldnāt hold out any hope for it anytime soon. if youāre not even remotely interested in giving it a shot with a premade group im not sure why you would want to go that route with a random queue group. random queue peoples typically dont want the stress and pressure (or investment) that comes with being successful in m+ so essentially you would be getting a lfr type version of m+ with this and blizz would tell you they already have it with heroic queue.
i dont think they need to redesign m+ for the % of people that dont like it. I think its just a different mindset between those types of players and frankly youāre either good enough to do it or not. also, anyone that plays this game can be āgood enoughā it just depends on how much time effort and direction they utilize.
