It's time to add solo queue Mythic+

And now with a queue, you will have deserter if you leave, even if the key is impossible to complete with the group composition.

Lock them out of keys for a day or more for repeated intentional leaving. Add a vote abandon feature in for people that have real life problems and have to leave. Idk spitballing.

Mythic+ is one set of content in this game, that if I ever decided to actually engage with it, I’d never, EVER do so with randoms.

I mean you have to now with premade LFG unless you have 4 other friends that play it

Perfection.

3 Augs + Brewmaster + Holy i want it.
(lets be real I’m sure some pro group would still smash it with this comp.)

I won’t even do this.

I don’t do Mythic+ as of now, but if I ever did, I would only be willing to do Mythic+ with my Guild. if ever.

Definitely makes sense. I don’t blame you! I think I’m just a masochist

Thank you for sharing that you actually don’t know what you’re talking about.

i see we found the root of the thread here.

People take this game way too seriously it’s actually kind of funny

Is solo que going to somehow take into account utilities?

Will there always be a hero class in the group? A battle res? A redundancy battle res? What about having decurses in a place like Grim Batol? And so on.

Wait, what am I talking about. Most of the people who will que have no intention of using their utility anyways…

Though, it sure would be fun to watch.

FFXIV kind of does this I believe with criterion dungeons. I could be wrong. I haven’t played in a while

FFXIV has tremendously simpler class design than WoW with cookie-cutter class builds.

You’re not wrong, but we’re just talking about utility spells aren’t we

I feel like people always point at people for being bad at M+, but they don’t want a system that allows them to improve. For example: the people in this thread that don’t want it probably wouldn’t ever use the feature.
In the current system, people who are bad just get carried. But in a solo queue system they could be grouped with people with similar IO score and are similarly bad, allowing people who actually want to improve to do so.
I don’t see a problem with it. Start people at +2 make them complete a few to go up to +3 and so on

This is exactly how I feel perfectly.

I don’t mind people crapping on me in the forums and trying to gatekeep what others are allowed to talk about. It’s whatever. But let’s not pretend solo queue mythic plus isn’t worth talking about, or hasn’t been an idea that’s floated around for a while even in top end mythic plus player communities.

You’re so right about people being able to display their skill and merit behind their skill if they were able to do it in the chaotic environment that solo queue mythic plus would surely be.

Yes, of which some classes / specs / builds have very, very little to offer.

I don’t know your experience in M+, especially in even semi-higher keys but there are a lot of factors to consider when creating groups and they vary from dungeon to dungeon.

This is why there are meta comps, it was little to do with flat-out dps and more about the combined utility of a group for the dungeon pools.

Nothing can save M+ you’re better off quitting the game and letting it die.

No, I totally understand that once you get to a certain key level, you essentially need certain utility or else you just cannot complete it. But I didn’t come into this forum, necessarily thinking that solo queue would replace LFG by any means.

The key level ceiling would certainly be lower in solo queue based on the fact you bring up about utility and other certain spells that become requirements.

I don’t necessarily see that as a big problem, but maybe some people would complain about it yes.

I mean, people complain about needing to take certain classes now cough augvoker.

So what exactly are you envisioning? Like would there would be a key level cap on solo que? Like you can’t que beyond a 6 or whatever? Or it’ll just get to a natural point where solo groups can’t do the key level they queued into unless they get ridiculously lucky with the right comp?

Honestly, yeah, there would be a sort of randomness induced soft cap. Extremely inelegant, I will give you that, but if you look at solo shuffle, comps in that can be an absolute cluster eff, yet it’s still somehow an enjoyable experience.

I think many people- humans in general enjoy some forms of gambling. Like psychologically you load into a solo queue group and you either have a good or a bad comp. But hey, maybe the bad comp somehow makes it further than you thought. Or the good comp, exceeds your expectations more than you even thought it would originally.

And so on.

I also understand a lot of people also enjoy practicing mythic plus runs to the point where it’s almost scripted. Kind of how speed runners literally speed run games over and over. I’m just saying there’s two camps of people.
