No, no they were not. the token to unlock everything was added in Legion to make them like that. originally you had to run them on multiple classes to unlock every single weapon mog, or run it on a warrior to get well everything.

they arenât lol this argument about comparing them to elite pvp sets has been dismantled several times. its trying to grasp at something not remotely the same and going see if you cant get elite pvp sets you shouldnât get CM sets when its two entirely different facets of gameplay, different requirements.

Anything in the game can be bought. Thatâs the nature of a free market. However, they are prestigious to the people who care about them. I, for one, had a lot of fun doing them myself, and running sale runs for them. They might not mean much to you, but for the rest of us they prob mean more.

No, no they are not. Prestige means nothing for challenge mode sets. and people who did one set of challenge mode heres an educated opinion who cares if they have the other sets it doesnât impact you and your gameplay it has nothing to do about deserve, its its trying to rectify a decision that should have been rectified in Legion like the WoD weapons were.

The problem is that the game gets steady updated and yet the mounts are one of the most critical areas where it actually should also count. They donât update them.
I play since MoP, so I have my fair share of rares. I feel bad for gatekeeping stuff from others, it was very often a bad experience.

Right now, in the live game, if i get 2100 rating on a rogue, i can buy a bow with an elite tint that a hunter can use. That hunter, however, cannot use an elite armour set because that hunter is not a rogue and it is the rogue that earned the armour set
Armour sets are and should stay specific to each class. Earn it on rogue, rogue gets it
Weapons, like wod cms, were correctly made into tokens because multiple classes can use them. That doesnât mean armour sets should be tokenized

I got the druid set them did a single CM with a friend just to provide healing in my shaman.
I was a full raider by that time. It was way easier than any of the druid ones but there was like 2 days left so I didnât bother. I regret not getting that shaman set now.
This is another crux of the issue
Even if other sets arent available to purchase outright let those of us who earned atleast one set be able to unlock the rest through what ever
Whether its time walking, some future content, M+ what ever
But the point of the matter remains people did the work, the sets should be obtainable in some degree if its not an outright gold sink to those who have one set already

My Paladin and Shaman were the only max level characters I had in MoP, and I hated the Shaman set, so I only bothered to get the Pally set.
