Druids can use polearms and daggersâŚ
Paladins can use polearms and not daggers
Rogues can use daggers and not polearms.
See how.it gets messy?
This is why wod.cm rewards are the way it is.
WoD CM rewards were the way they were because itâs a better system.
One they should apply retroactively to Mists.
The justification as to why WOD CMs were treated differently was always flimsy at best in my book.

Because I never thought I would have to drop my Mists main because of Blizzardâs incompetence.

Because running it once was enough for me I enjoyed it. I didnât need to run it eleven times thats just mind numbing. I donât have all classes leveled, and still donât I donât sink that much time into the game. and people switch mains all the time why should they lose out their progress because according to peoples logic they didnât run the same content eleven times, but somehow by the same logic earned the WOD weapons. its a flimsy argument at best

No, I blame Blizzard for badly mismanaging the class design of most specs over the last decade.
this isnât entitlement, people main switch all the time, they may not like how their class is, they do it for guilds, what ever. that has nothing to do with entitlement, people donâtlike losing the work they earned from main switching, stuff like this should be unlocked for all classes.

IIRC they changed WoD CM rewards towards the end of the expac to give players incentive to play the content because trying to unlock all the weapon mogs was weird and clunky.
If they didnât do it it would encourage people to play classes like a warrior who can use every weapon besides wands and then play a caster if they really cared. And if they didnât have a warrior theyâd have to mix and match random classes just to get everything.
The argument that they did it intentionally is silly. It was never planned, they just realized that unlike MoP the rewards werenât very class centric beyond what weapons youâd unlock. In my mind the idea that because you did the CMs as a warrior means your mage can rock the caster staff makes just as much sense as using the different class sets so if you donât get to unlock the MoP mage set because you did CMs as a warrior your mage certainly doesnât deserve to show off the staff either.
