You mean the option for a space, right? I’ve only seen one game that had true last names. Like, its own database and a last name could be taken.

You mean completely aesthetic last names like you can pick one for each of your toons?
Or practical last names that would ignore actual family name principles and be applied to your entire warband for identification purpose in the gaming community?

I dread the day when we have a “Walter White” running around every server.

There will be so many Baggins and Proudfeet running around my gag reflex will be triggered.

I feel like the naming policy is too restrictive in general. I can’t have a name like Cho’gall for instance, or Gul’dan.

Was about to mention that while reading your post. Played EQ before WOW came out and somehow remember my 1/2 Elf Hunters name Suleras Woodlord. I dont branch out as you can tell from my main lol.

My first character was a Hunter because I never got around to playing a Ranger or Beastmaster in EQ :rofl:

I was like “Wooo this Hunter thing is both!”

It should only be allowed on RP realms, so they can set some rules. Otherwise we’ll end up with some real bangers that get insta-reported.

Same. When I first started om Wrath, I kept referring to my hunter as a “ranger”. Confused the crap outta guildmates lol

Uh no. Just report and move on. RP servers aint special. We can have name rules on all servers.
I want true last names with a space and everything.

Don’t write it off, getting carried by Heisenberg in keys could fun. He’ll walk up to The Darkness in DFC and one shot him with an explosive chemical like he almost did Tuco. :joy:

Yeah I want it too. It was a cool feature in EQ, I believe you got to choose your last name at level 20.

This character is supposed to be named Samuel Wisengard but I had to combine it into Samwise.
