Yeah. So long as Bliz is making an honest effort and 2H frost is reasonably within the ballpark in terms of overall DPS, I will be playing 2h Frost as my main and Unholy on the side.
It would just be fun to switch between all three specs using the same weapon.
This is easy. Make Frost DK Mastery based with slow 2h, and make Unholy haste based with 2 1h. 1h’s swing faster, so makes sense. 2h swing slower, but will be stronger based off mastery stat.

Now do a compilation on the progression of all the people that begged for 2H Frost.
Why would anyone try to start an argument of 2H/DW again. 2h is back, period. For those who care about 2H, lets just try to be as clear as possible to Bliz about what needs to change t make 2H equal with DW (which I think has been beaten to death at this point). And, for those that don’t care about 2H, one can just ignore the 2H conversation.
Because some people hate being on the wrong side of history and can’t admit it when they were wrong.

why i would do that, its funny when we see someone so sure it never would happen just to smash the face in the wall.
No one said it wouldn’t happen aside from people who knew it was easy to press the 2h community buttons. What did happen was people warning 2h people that if weapon restrictions were lifted then its going to be worse and one complaint is being traded for another. And look what is happening right now, weapon restrictions were lifted and it is just worse than DW even though those of us warning this exact scenario “didn’t know anything because we don’t play the game” or “blizzard would never do something like that to bring 2h without balancing it” even though many people advocating for it didn’t care about dps and just wanted the choice.
It’s looking like venthyr or night fae are the go to covenants for the entire dk let alone for many classes because movement abilities are extremely powerful along with the class covenant abilities providing more for the specs than the other 2.
There are far greater issues in Shadowlands than 2h frost.

What is there to look at at a design point of view when the specs arent even really changing? No one is talking about the anima powers which favor unholy SOOOO much? They boost abilities that are shared between the specs like Death and Decay, Chains of Ice and Death Coil along with defensives. They have made some small changes to the classes, brought back some abilities, and started focusing on the covenant system and torgast which is the main focus of the expansion.
I do hope they bring back some frost themed abilities like chilibrans which slowed stuff that wasn’t immune to slows from our frost attacks. Hungering cold would have been a nice instead of dnd.
And I hope after shadowlands frost and the class gets desease back so we have a playstyle that can benefit from them.

You picked out a tiny portion of what I said instead of following the entire context of what was stated in the next sentence shows how absolutely deciteful you have been being in regards to what people say on here.

I’ve played uh and blood for years. Havent played frost seriously in a long time.
At this point I’d be happy if frost in general wasn’t so breath focused:/ I really dislike how it plays atm. Was really hoping for wrath like frost, but it is all ap scaling now instead of weapon based. The frost scaling with km procs will feel good. But in reality I dont think the old frost 2h style that people are nostalgic about will ever be back. Guess time will tell. I’m hopeful, but not expecting much.
