It's sad that all the hype is fading away that quick

I don’t see why some people are just laughing at how the queue’s are bad of for the horde. It’s just a juvenile reaction and it does not help anything at all.

I got insta queue as an Alliance, cool, but the more people quit (horde), the more it hurts the game as a whole.

People we’re hyped to play TBC and each passing day, the interest diminish.

The grind is never-ending.
The Queues takes forever
The bugs are countless.

People just want to grind reasonably their pvp set, do dungeons and have fun. Not going no life to acquire simple things.

I’ve gave a try to retail (shadowland) just before TBC launch. I know I won’t go back there.

The lack of communication and action is staggering.

None of these are real problems, except for the bugs which you can just report. The forums are an echo chamber for the vocal minority. The hype is not fading, that’s just what the few forum posters and their army of alts want you to believe.

The queue and the honor grind have been in the mouth of almost every streamer, been a constant topic on the forums and been the subject of mmo champion / icy veins / wowhead.

I doubt this is all coming from a dozen of agitator.

Streamers make up the extreme the minority of players.

I don’t think you get it buddy, every big Q is 1 hour+ for horde, it’s literally the majority
Of players getting shafted

I just wanted casual pvp. Can’t do that if blue side AFKs and gets loss after loss. While on Red it’s hour + ques.

So yea I’m done.

Stop being part of the problem and become part of the solution.

Wrong look at ironforge.pro. The queue issue is real. PvP servers are dying en masse because desperate horde farming honor mass gank anything that moves. Everyday alliance players are forced to pay blizz $$ to transfer off to an alliance dominated PvP server; or pve server. The casual horde player quits; sending the signal to blizz that “this isn’t worth the effort”. I understand for alliance players being vindictive over a game means a lot because for these forum posters based on activity it’s more than just a game to them, but it’s a game. And to the OPs point it’s a great game and we should care about the health of the game. Also I can see on IFpro and ofc not as valid anecdotally people who I know that were excited to casually PvP just quit. Eventually casual alliance players will be fed up and all go pve servers or quit due to being stomped in every pug bg that isn’t a premade. Idk how any of this is healthy for the game. But it is an interesting glance into a controlled sphere of tribalistic behavior.

I played both sides for many years. I’ve been “A part of the solution.”

No sorry I came back to play 1 specific character for nostalgic reasons. I will gladly transfer alliance via faction change and give it a try. However loss after loss is just as bad if not worse than long ques. I know that all too well.

The solution would be for fixes to the game. Yet it’s classic no one wants fixes. I get why they don’t want them. However players play this game so different. So if no fixes added. It gives me an excuse to never play wow again.

Stopped reading here.

I just did a WSG on my Horde character. We capped all 3 flags with absolutely NO opposition. How can you win if you don’t play? The que only took 30 min to pop. It was over in about 15 min.

I found it odd that there were virtually no Alliance players even trying to stop the FC or anything

Doesn’t take 15 mins if alliance are afk, calling out your bags story.

Also WSG q’s are longer than 45 mins, verifying your made up story even further.

That’s cringe bro

I’m not a huge fan of TBC, I’m just here for my guild but the hype isn’t dying.

It’s not Blizzard’s fault that a bunch of scrubs rolled Horde to min/max and then min/maxed the fun out of their own game.

People predicted this would happen with BE and people even said that Blizzard should have removed active racials.

Maybe 3 alliance rogues were actually playing. Horde do have a tendency to leave 1 person on flag while everyone else farms Hks.

Or maybe they were farming HKs with flag at alliance GYs. I’ve seen that many many times.

If you refuse to be part of the sole solution because of “muh nostalgia”, then idk what to tell you. Enjoy the problems you cause or choose retail where the QoL things you desire are implemented.

You said yourself in the mouths of “every streamer”

If you don’t think streamers galvanize their entire viewerbase over the most inane thing then clearly you don’t pay attention to big name streamers

What does blizzard have to communicate exactly?

They already made the money they will make from TBC, now they just need to reduce the cost of running it, and that is putting as little man hours into the game as possible. Sorry but thats the unfortunate reality, hope you guys are enjoying your mounts!

I also said in same paragraph that I am more than willing to faction change. However alliance side tend to lose most games. So loss after loss is just as bad as long ques.

But yea don’t read the whole post. Pick what you want. That always works

Oh yea I play both sides…I am part of solution already. :smirk:

Faction change isnt in Classic TBC. It is in Retail though. Like I said, retail has the QoL changes you seek.

The only time I saw a queue was first day of pre-patch. The hype was never big.
