It's ridiculous how paranoid you people are

That makes two of us.

I don’t think Elon is evil, he’s just another rich guy trying to make more money. He’s not special.

That sucks, man. It really does. I’ll never understand why people care so much about other’s personal lives in a virtual atmosphere, ya know? That’s not why we come to play WoW. WoW is the escape from that crap

Or maybe he is evil, but we’ll somehow still reap the benefits of his purported genius

"It’s ridiculous how paranoid you people are"

peaks out drawn curtains

Are you watching me?

Of course you being alt-left would say it’s not a thing but you yourself scream alt-right this and alt-right that from the roof tops… laughable at best

It’s hard not to despise a religion you don’t believe in, when others try to force you to follow the rules of that religion.

I love how without fail every time I click on one of these threads the first post is talking about the new social contract.

Then I scroll to the bottom and the posts are like “You see and that’s why the communists are killing America!”.

After reading all the responses here I also have to say this, even though I agree with the basic idea of signing the social contract:

Calling people names or insinuating they are “paranoid” or “jerks” is not respectful either. Further, castigating them because of their political beliefs or your perception of their political beliefs (left, right, center, Trump loving, Biden loving, or otherwise) is also not respectful.

In many ways, anyone using names, labels, or categorizing people is exhibiting the sort of bad behavior that is prohibited by this contract.

This is directed at the original poster and many that follow.

Really think about what you are doing.

At least one thing has been consistent in the US for the past 80 years, right?

It’s a product of how much politics have devolved, particularly in America. Everything is left vs right, its silly how people dont see through it.

The connection between “social contracts” and “social credit systems” is not loose.

There is a context here though that you can’t reasonably deny. I don’t agree with the idea the social contract “is communism” or that this is the sort of stuff “killing America”. But to act as if there is no underlying broader social backdrop to the dissenters’ concerns is a form of gaslighting.

there are thousands of ways to get banned from real life.
dying from an animal attack.
dying via homicide. (so many scenarios this can happen)
walking into a landmine. (this one is easier to do than you think in certain countries as millions of unexploded landmines still exist.)
dying from asphyxiation when cave diving.
going into one of the deadly caves that have killed so many other divers and are hundreds of feet deep.
being crushed to death in a sub implosion i.e. the uss thresher or uss scorpion.
dying from a gamma ray burst hitting earth directly via massive radiation overdose. (think billions if not trillions of times over the lethal limit.)
being fried alive through a massive supernova explosion.
our sun exploding in the next couple billion years. (this one is guaranteed unless humanity finds some way to refuel the sun with the hydrogen it needs to keep running.)
being aspyhixiated in the vaccumn of space.
dying to chemical exposure.
being poisoned.
dying being crushed to a singularity in a moving black hole.
dying in a magnatuar explosion.
the list goes on and on.

It’s pretty damn loose, chief. They both have the word “social” in them. That’s about it.

Whale, not to make people feel bad for me, the unfortunate truth is I don’t get to escape from it. So instead I rolled with it and became prideful about it and learned to never feel ashamed. And it’s also because of the community that we had of people supporting me that kept me playing.

It most certainly is a thing. Though, people generally say “far-left” or any other thing to describe fringe-extremism on the left.

Not when both are trying to control behavior with unnatural expectations and very vague rules.

You will never be able to force people to be nice to each other. The only end result is a complete divide. A divided community/society and a divided community won’t call out the major problems. Like when said company is engaging in insider trading or abusing the staff.

I’m not trying to make any claims here.

I’m just poking fun at how these threads always turn out.
