It's ridiculous how paranoid you people are

Then someone need to stop applying Political Theory to the Game. Quite simple. :stuck_out_tongue:

Right!!! Common Blizz, justice for all!

That is what the government has said is ok with right to refuse service champ. You access WoW…you sign the acknowledgement. Don’t want to sign? Don’t play wow. World goes on.

We don’t want to sign! That is why more aren’t playing WoW! Life continues with GD chat instead of /1 Hello friends!

Some people don’t remember the old “No Shoes, No Shirt, No service” adage.

Good, stand out side the gates and stomp your feet. No sign, No play.

That is still around. We went to a small family fun park a little while ago. They had it.

Well that sucks. We enjoyed playing with all of you for the most part… No one ever told me I was mean to them in game. Quite the opposite actually.

I think someone reported one guy in Alliance team today, during random battleground, for calling us all idiots yet we still won that game!

Like, some people are mad that we win games, I guess… lmao

Lol. I had one of those last week too. People give up to quickly.

Good thing I did not trash talk Mirasol then, I criticized her comment as dismissive and dishonest because she did not present Koji’s concerns as about politeness not real life concerns. Criticizing comments and actions are not personal attacks.

As for her role, I would have been less likely to respond if I knew she wasn’t rubberstamped by Blizzard (She is and isn’t, moderating ability is irrelevant compared to representing Blizzard) but even if on the off chance I would have still responded I would say the same thing. Distorting Koji’s position was unethical and does not take Koji’s concerns seriously.

Yeah, comeback wins are called comeback wins because we come back and win, lol!

If you were never mean to others then you have nothing to worry about. The only people that should be worried or even bothered by the agreement are those that should be. People really do self identify.

Wasn’t looking for a gotcha. @Vrakthris was responding to someone else in a thread started by myself. I apologized for the error in a reply down below as my original post is now locked and unable to be corrected.

We are not worried about getting banned from the game is the point. We are worried about ‘social contracts’ deciding how we interact with one another.

Because we have a different view, but have no history of doing anything wrong, does not seem like justification for being denied service. It seems like discrimination.

It’s not even that. As many of us have already pointed out, the social contract already existed in their original terms of service that has dated back to 2004. Acceptable User Behaviors are a part of Terms of Service for ALL social platform sites and services.

The contract is just making things clearer to the player.

Blizzard like parents, had to step in because the kids couldn’t be trusted or behave themselves, so they had to spell out the rules.

Dude, we have a different opinion. I’m sure by now the admins have looked up my history. Most of us are decent people and will continue to be. We just disagree on if this makes things clearer or more ambiguous.

…in no where does that contract force you to interact any way. All it does is says in nicer terms “don’t be a toxic AF dick”. If you are worried that is telling you how to play, you have bigger issues.

Hate to break it to you, but jerk is not a protected class.
