You ever heard of the league of legends forums that were so bad Riot had to delete them?

never been in trouble in the past so if i do get in trouble now i’ll know they lied heh
I have to assume the vast majority of people are completely fine agreeing to it, but the visceral reaction by some to being asked to follow the absolute bare minimum level of decency is interesting anyway. It’s probably a phrasing thing. Some people will do the opposite of anything they’re asked out of principle or get angry that they were asked anything to start.
does a post spot go away if a person deletes it or would it keep the deleted by author spot for a while?
Presuming that opposition to a social contract means opposition to social responsibility is just wrong and putting words in the other sides mouth! I don’t need a social contract to help a person who needs it when I can!! And who on earth could feel good about themselves if it’s that social contract and only that social contract that made them help the person!! The idea that freely being able to be a bad person is the only thing the really gives being a good person meaning to me. For a very long time WoW has embodied this almost “wild west” feel about it in which you could easily be (and many often are) bad people…it’s “living” in that world and being better not because you have to be but because it feels good and it the world you want to be in that gives it meaning to me, I feel like Blizz kind of demeaned that, you clearly don’t and that’s ok too.
But it’s making a blanket statement that doesn’t need to be made. I reiterate, the important parts have all been in the TOS since day one!! We already agreed to this and if Blizz ever needed to take action they have ample authority to do so. There was no NEED for this, it’s theatre!!! And maybe don’t presume to tell me what I am am not insulted by. You are welcome to not be insulted by it, but I am, and neither does that make me thin skinned…it’s the principle!!
Although, the concept of me being insulted and this person telling me to not be insulted, is a prime illustration of how and where this will go wrong at some point!! The ideas of “insult” and “discrimination” though real when happening to an individual, are nonetheless, highly subjective (especially in a game that thrives on competition, being the best, Elitism!!) …so if Blizz is somehow going to step up and really police this, which why make a “thing” of it this way if you weren’t (it’s already in the TOS)…they had better be aware of how easily a thing like this can be abused!! And if people don’t see how this can be abused then you might be part of the problem!!

Does not exist. In fact the only reason the term Alt Right came about was because the actual right wing didnt want to be associated with the fringe, but still wanted their votes, so they just kind of shoved them to the side but did nothing to distinguish themselves.

What about the fringe left like Antifa, BLM or other fringe left groups that burn down neighborhoods like those whom the left wing associate with for votes are they alt-left or just the normal liberal left?

None of those things happened. You were lied to. BLM is a protest against racial disparity. Antifa is simply “anti fascist”. And i LIVE in the city fox news claimed BLM burned. Hint: It didnt burn.

Apparently you don’t understand that, by choosing to help a person who needs it in society, you are living by a social contract. It wasn’t something you signed, and you may not feel like it was forced on you because you were raised to believe that it was right, but you’re still living it. Refusing to live a social contract like that is absolutely opposition to social responsibility.
It may not have needed to be made to you, or to me, but you’re blind if you think there aren’t people in the WoW community that need that statement made.
Sure, but they thought that it might be more positive to remind everyone of the rules in a non-legalese format before just issuing bans. Many people think it’s good when people give warnings before levying punishments.
I didn’t. I presumed to tell you that it’s not insulting. You can choose to be insulted if you want, that is your choice, and no one but you can make it. But just because you choose to be insulted doesn’t mean it is actually insulting. If I tell you I’m insulted that your name has the word “Bull” in it, that doesn’t mean there is anything actually insulting about your name. It just means I’ve chosen to be insulted by something frivolous.
