Absolutely, and there was a negative to being on the “meta” side. It drew players who wanted fast queues to Alliance. Good players would want to switch because they enjoyed lots of PvP, and wouldn’t want to wait. This would help balance out factions naturally. Instead, this change just cemented the destruction of the Alliance. In 16 years, the Horde was unable to successfully rid Azeroth of the Alliance, yet Blizzard did it with one change.

It adds up. We didn’t want boosts either. Blizzard is telling us they don’t care. They don’t realize we want the game as it was. No boosts. No same faction war games. What YOU don’t realize is this won’t be the only change. The next one likely won’t be one that you like.

Uhhh I DEFINITELY realize that. Idk why why you’re making such an assumption. They’ve made a ton of changes already. I’m just saying that the ones before like boosts, premium mounts, and obnoxious cosmetics were much MUCH worse than this, yet the OP doesn’t even mention those.

It’s not rose tinted. Dual spec ruins the rpg aspect. I’ve hated dual spec since it first came out. Is it rose tinted if we played pservers and loved not having QoL changes?

I mean I guess we just disagree on how bad boosts were then. Not much else to really say here.

There should be actually. And you should have to go talk to your trainer EVERY TIME! Instant win buttons are bad. It effects raid strategy. Ohh well. Im likely unsubbing on all my accounts so you can have your trash game. It’s not rose tinted if we hate retail changes.
Dual Spec is not a retail change.
Didn’t they try this before many years ago, but no one actually used the free transfers? Why would they try something that has previously not worked.
