It's okay to not cater to "casuals"

I retract my original statement.

I hear you

Becoz the entitled new players are asking for more content after they consumed the old content. They completely forgot that there is a massive content on dungeons and raid that they havent played.

I am okay with a Mythic Raid player asking for more content after he got bored consuming all WoW’s content.

But I hate New players asking for more content when he hasnt touched yet the massive content of dungeons and raids.

Good way to fail.

There will always be different tastes and conflicts of interest between groups of players with different desires for the direction of the game. Alienate some players and drive them away and you just start exposing the divisions within the remaining population.

I do not believe it’s possible to build a better world through purges.

Gee whiz I dunno, here’s a thought.

How bout, instead of looking for people to dis-include, why don’t we make the game to include as many types of players as possible?

If you think wow can exist entirely on sweatlord revenue, I think you’re in for a suprise.

This is actually a compliment because I strive to be an NPC in-game. It’s why I follow the same patterns and AFK in the same spots.

So thanks for noticing!

Exactly.
Ion tried to cater to hardcore players by trying to remove flight some years back.

Oh gosh what ever will I do now that Feyrre doesn’t congratulate me on my sobriety anymore? Guess I’ll relapse.

I’d suggest aiming to better yourself, which is usually what people struggling with their addiction issues usually do. If the whole being facetious thing doesn’t work out, I mean.

Retracting a congratulation because someone didn’t bask in it’s grace is definitely one of the most pathetic things I’ve seen this year, and I’ve looked at myself in the mirror after a handle of vodka!

Hard to beat that.

I can’t speak for her, obviously, but I’d say she mostly meant the first part of you two being in agreement. But, that’s just my opinion and how I read it.

My advice rolls either way, though - just focus on bettering yourself.

You don’t need my congratulations or my approval. You made that very clear. I hope you continue a path to healing, since my mother was an alcoholic and I saw the pain it caused her, but I retracted my congratulations because of your attitude towards me. You called me pathetic as well, which is the attitude that lends nature to the retraction of my statement. Not because I hope you relapse. That is a terrible thing to wish on someone.

This basically.
