Its an unintended bug that happened in vanilla. I remember it happening multiple times.

Esfand reported the bug and made Blizzard aware of the situation. Stop crying and comparing them to people who knowingly hid the information so they could abuse it as long as possible for their own gain. There is a clear difference.

OK, streamers are streamers, content promoters, not typical players, understandable.
But the entire “Classic Summer” you promised, was just some patch 8.2 or raid finder wing 3. Not classic at all, unless you were a streamer.
Yet, you didn’t send that as an email to streamers. You made it an official announcement. Everyone was expecting to get it, but only streamers got it.
You just turned the Blizzard services into “services for streamers”, and the remaining playerbase into “puppets of the streamers”.
At least let non-streamers access the game, game time, BfA expansion, and all store mounts, for free, since we aren’t your customers, but the streamers are.
I did not exploit anything. It was one of the “not-a-bug” things, a documented game’s feature, that I was using as intended. I guess I deserve a “warning” abut the use of this specific thing, but since it’s already fixed, there’s no need to even email me about that.
The change (not fixing) of this feature is enough of a penalty.
