Its getting to play the game when it actually releases, yeah? Like a game doesn’t naturally drop on a Monday, it drops on a Thursday so players can play over the weekend.
Blizz is really just milking players who want to play on time, not early. Is this a practice we want to see normalized with Blizz or gaming in general?
Early is early. If I am supposed to get in at 10 and I get in at 8, I’m early. If I get in at 8, and normally it opens at 10, except on Sunday which is 12. I’m still early.

I’ve seen this practice for well over a decade now. It’s been normalized for a while. 
Well early is one way of putting it. Im sure the officers would call it Breaking and Entering though

Do I think it’s a pretty low move from blizzard? Yes.
Did I buy early access? Also yes.

Blizzard has traditionally released expansions on Monday/Tuesday so they can be in the office to fix the game breaking bugs that inevitably occur. So yes, this is an early release by Blizzard standards.
Look I just buy the collectors edition and have since BC. The early access was just part of it this time.
I don’t like it as a practice (early access), and honestly I may just play the pre release event more. I’m not really in that much of a rush. I’m a solo player and delves are going to be my jam.
I’ll be in the game before some others.

The only wow xpacs that dropped on a Thursday were wotlk and wod. All of the others dropped on a Tuesday except for SL and DF which dropped on Mondays.

The EARLY ACCESS is just EARLY LEVELING sadly blizzard has put a wall on anything end game. NO HEROICS, NO BGS, NO TIER 3+ DELVES. Really blizzard screwed it with this wall. They say its for fairness so people cant gear quicker than Non early access player. But then your paying for what? A early leveling experience? Cool.
