Gonna be interesting to see how the actual launch plays out, if the buggy/glitchy prepatch is any indication of the types of “unintended” bugs that are possible

I checked my transaction history and can factually state I paid the same price as any other epic edition. The early access didn’t put anything extra on so you didn’t actually pay for it… it literally came with no added expense.
At which I’d say if you bought the epic edition for early access, you just simply bought an epic edition. So that’d be on you.

Shadowlands and Dragonflight were both released on a Monday.
They’ve been doing it like that for a long time.

So it is a greasy tactic that they know will make them a ton of money.
There’s nothing we can do about it though unfortunately.
But games used to release on Tuesdays. This was the standard for games across all consoles/PC for a long time until it changed to Thursday/Friday.
Also…
Legion released on a Tuesday.
BFA released on a Tuesday.
Shadowlands released on a Monday.
Dragonflight released on a Monday.
So it’s not some new thing for them to release the game on a Monday.
What time does early access start? I thought it was supposed to be today.

Your technically wrong. Sure today is the release date for me, who has early access, but for others it’s not.
The official release date is the 26th when everyone can access the expansion.
And I would get used to early access. The gaming industry does it left and right.

I bought an early access game on Steam nearly 3 years ago.
It’s still in early access and is a really good game.
It’ll be ‘released’ in September.
Still early… if it’s by 1 day it’s early… early doesn’t mean you have 1 week of gameplay ahead of others lol.
I have the “early access” feature, because I wanted that Shaman hearthstone and the Earthen/Wildhammer racial transmog.
I really don’t care if I play tonight, tomorrow or to the original release date. The NEETs will always get the advantage in the long run, so don’t worry about it.

Technicalities aren’t realities. TWW releases today. You just had to pay double the base expansion price to play it on release.
