It's hilarious what the #1 complaint is for this class

Should be a pretty safe bet for you then, yeah?

Want to make it $3k?

So massive hyperbole/misinformation on your part is fine, but anyone calling you on it is pedantic?

What a simpleton. You’re a waste of my time–let me know if you want to donate that money to me with that bet you claimed you’d make.

In the same of fairness, I do want to bring up that you may just not be seeing most of the evokers not in dragon form or thinking they are something else….

Which gives more credence to the visual clarity argument on why they shouldn’t be in visage especially during combat.

Same, I dislike that I will be turning it back on for M+ soon for the regen, because the regen is just too crazy good.

However I support people that want more options for how they look and when. More is always better and hurts no one despite people claiming it will hurt them.

No, for wow to have a theme of coherence, people cannot look however they want.

I regularly see dracthyr in true form.

Most of the time if people see me in visage is because they see me inside a city other than Vald, where it fits the RP. That doesn’t mean I’m silly enough to want to make breathes work with visage.

I mean I’m not, but only because I don’t enjoy casters. If their third spec had been black dragon/earth based melee dps, I’d be all dragon all the time. I have a race change token waiting for the very moment I can change my warrior to a drakthyr.

If we could get at least chest/gloves/and proper belt that would go a long way to helping the issue. I can understand if there’s some behind the code stuff making pants hard though, and I main wargon so, what are boots :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah but people can already look however they want. I can be any race I want whenever I want, I can be millhouse manastorm if I want, or Gamon. I can be a saberon or any of a dozen things. I have so many toys I could be anything but what I really am 24/7 if I wanted.

There’s a difference between a toy vs “I can create a character that looks like Gamon” or a raid boss for that matter.

What is the difference?

Before you say something like “if I have to explain it blah blah etc etc” then you are intentionally not answering.

I fully sincerely genuinely in good faith am asking you what the difference is.

Evoker only has a hair fewer players at cap than rogue, a class which has been in the game since vanilla and was only ever locked out of 2 race choices.

How prevalent it is in the world.

The same for making a mount a rare drop vs from a common vendor.

Ease of access.

One is based on lore(character) and one is illusion-based(toy).

Oh yeah detecting a subtle visage is implied to be hard to near impossible in Knaak novels (but visages still often have tell tales like the eyes, which is the case for most dragons with unique models and obviously player dracs with subtle visages) and it’s basically reiterated in Stormwind’s DF intro quests; it wouldn’t register as an illusion.

they also need to add more barber shop options and separate the color selection for each armor piece

I’m honestly surprised they didn’t try to give us these before introducing the other classes to dracthyr…

reading through your replies- they’re all the same.
1/10 forum troll.

Instead of this pointless back and forth, why don’t we advocate for more Dracthyr options instead? Primal, experimental, bulkier, or Void-based models would make a lot of players happy, and perhaps remove this desire to be in Visage form all the time.

I’m a soft 2 at worst.

So that’s a no on the bet then?

Someone had the idea that evoker base forms should drop like dragon manuscripts did in DF:

Void form as a sark drop, fyrakk model for him, quests for storm form from vyranoth, etc.

There’s a lot they could do that would also create more play time which is their ultimate goal–seems like a huge miss for sure.

Voidy/Sarkareth would make more sense as glyphs tbh
