I got the same bracers twice. Does that count toward my 4 mythic 8/8 raid gear pieces that I will TOTALLY get from tier 6 and 7s? Sounds pretty leet to me.
personally my definition of casual is “doesnt do mythic dungeons and doesnt do raids higher than LFR tier” because thats me. But thats half the problem. Casual is you know. a very undefined term and means different things to different folks
Y’all are losing your minds because you can’t sleepwalk through content so early that Mythic gear isn’t even available yet.
Delves are the largest source of gear currently, if you capped keys going into this week you’ve been able to get like 18-24 pieces of 603 (610 if you’re lucky). Heroic raid and a handful of normal bosses is the only source of better loot than that.
And there’s the issue, being “casual” doesn’t magically limit what level of content you can do nor how good you are / can be at the game.
Delves are casual-friendly content because they don’t require massive time investments to complete and are done in a way that its possible to AFK during without having massive impact to other people. Delves aren’t casual friendly because they’re easy for meant or people that choose to not engage in meaningful content in the game. Expecting that to be the case but still getting relevant gear rewards is just incredibly dumb.
If you aren’t having fun doing something, don’t do it. You don’t need a meta spec or meta class to solo delves. The idea that you do is patently absurd.
The ultimate issue is that people claim the title of “casual” while playing this game like a full time job farming trivial content demanding to be rewarded for their “effort.” I’m as casual as it gets. I play a bit in the evenings and as much as I can during the weekends due to employment. Things like delves or M+ are absolutely perfect for me.
I want to see them spread the love to mythic raids. wandering aggro…massive 1 shot attacks…enemy groups that vary depending on team make up. sounds exciting!
Oh spare me that. I dont farm this game doing trivial content, I do the content I enjoy until I get bored and then I unsub for 6 months till the next major patch. If in the end,. delves turn out to be only intended for people who want to do progression, then fine, I’ll just go back to singleplayer rpgs and fighting games for another 4-5 months. Same way I played pandaria remix for like a week and then quit.
see, I had like 5 keys going into this week and didnt even bother clearing a t8 till I had ran out of bountiful delves and was helping a friend because I couldnt give even the slightest heck about “being optimal” and think people who are worried about it are tryhard hardcore players.
So playing the small amount of content that has been available since launch is … tryhard hardcore players. Keys are quite literally gotten from worldquest-level content… what
oh im aware where they came from. I just spent the first 2-3 weeks levelling alts or mining or completing all the sidequests in every zone or playing around with professions and largely ignoring world quests
Its telling you basically ignore sidequests, professions, or alt levelling as content, though
