You can have that world anytime you want, in Classic Era

not only him, but blizzard as a whole.

So since they’re not making game decisions that are just in your interest you’re leaving?

You do understand other people play the game as well, correct?

WYM? Classic era is pre-wrath. Not beyond it.

Yes, the minority doesnt want LFD… They can go back and play Classic Era for the rest of their lives

More so the majority of retail players are the ones that really want LFD in Classic.

Classic core doesn’t want it.

Finding the group isn’t the game. If that’s what’s fun for you you probably enjoy work meetings. Running the dungeon is what I consider the fun part of the game. That’s the part I enjoy. Killing mobs and bosses and upgrading my gear along the way. Notice how Blizzard never created achievements for thousands of whispers sent/received but they have them for killing certain mobs completing thousands of quests, completing the dungeons, etc. it never occurred to you there might be a good reason for that?

How? Just because it’s not fun?

I don’t think it’s fun when I lose loot. Should Blizzard fix this for me?

No. Quit then. If that’s what you want to do.

And some of them are leaving as well. Are you really trying to tell me I should continue to spend money on a game I don’t think I’m going to fully enjoy?

Seriously?

The so called “classic core” can go back to Era once this decision gets reverted.

To have fun is literally the reason to play a game, yes. If you’re not having fun playing, what are doing?

It certainly is part of the game experience of an MMO. Or at least it used to be. Shrug

Already did, waiting on my paid time to expire and tilting at windmills in the meantime.

Not everything is sunshine and rainbows in MMOs.

Have you ever lost a loot roll? Get ganked? Have someone ninja gear/quit? Did you quit after that?

So you were only planning on doing RDF?

Whats immersive about a chat where you can talk to people around the whole world?

How is questing, farming while in Q any more lazy than sitting in town spamming a macro in chat?

Not what’s even being discussed.

He’s stating it’s too difficult for him to read chat and quest.

You also said RDF ruins world immersion, so to that point you’re fine with trade/lfg chan. as being acceptable. So again how is that acceptable to talk to people around the world in a chat chan. which isn’t immersive but somehow RDF ruins it.

That’s not the point. RDF is both a Wrath feature and a retail feature. You said it ruins your world immersion. People do open world content in retail still. There are other things that “ruin immersion” than the ability to search via queue for people to do dungeons with, at all hours of the day/night.
Without cross-realm, teleporting to the instance is the only viable option, otherwise you could get put in a PvP (or PvE) scenario where your party members couldn’t help you.

Prove it. Nobody has numbers to back up that claim. There’s no hard line Aldor/Scryer-esque polarity of Retail/Classic factions with prescribed views. I have played mainly Classic since it launched. I only ever touch retail to farm gold for subs.

I think most people enjoy questing with dungeons sprinkled in. Very few people are aiming for server first 90 or even rushing to the end game. Most of us are happy moving forward at a moderate pace and doing the dungeons a few times when we reach their level and have quests for them. With the lfd we can queue up, quest or farm while we wait for the dungeon to pop, and after go back to questing and farming. Frankly I think that was the way the game was meant to be played. But it failed because it was too hard, often impossible, to find a group for a dungeon run

It solved the problem of finding dungeon groups for me.
