I don’t mean items to level professions.
I specifically mean items that are not strictly speaking “quest items” (can only drop while on the quest) but are still used for quest turn-ins and can be farmed by any character or bought on the AH. Acquiring these items in advance means we can just turn them in on any new shammy/paladin as soon as they hit the level for some quick XP.
The list so far:
Green Hills of Stranglethorn (15 pages)
Wool Cloth x300 (“A Donation of Wool” for each capital city)
Silk Cloth x300 (ditto)
Mageweave x300 (ditto)
Runecloth x300 (ditto)
Rethban Ore x5 (“Rethban Ore”)
Bolt of Woolen Cloth x1, Fine Thread x1, Hillman’s Cloak x1 (“Bartolo’s Yeti Fur Cloak”, will still need to farm Yeti Fur x10 afterward)
Scorpok Pincer x6, Vulture Gizzard x14, Blasted Boar Lung x6, Basilisk Brain x11, Snickerfang Jowl x5 (five turn-ins near the entrance to Blasted Lands)
