LOFL. If you only knew how correct that statement is. But you could’ve inserted any MMO in there, but you chose FF. So you either believe what you said and accept that FF is the better game, or you’re scared of it and mocking it because it’s not the sinking ship that WoW is.

Kaivax, in future, this would be a great thing to tell your playerbase a few weeks ahead of time. Or even a week ahead of time. Really… it was probably always planned and would not have adversely affected the game. Little stuff like this always rubs people the wrong way. Thanks.

I was working toward getting a 447 weapon crafted I had 30 aspect crests and needed 30 more. Does this mean all that work is now gone when I was close to getting the weapon crafted?

yup. not everyone lives on the forums (or 3rd party websites). Ideally it should of been announced before anyone actually logged into the game. forcing a player to press accept to continue.

I have another question. So is this also saying, that i will need a d8ifferent regent to enchant Wyrm’s cestst? Like the 14 Drycothis or whatever they are will be no good? After mining in the sub basement of a cave now 2 weeks, to even make them?

The Crest conversion was previously disclosed and not a surprise. The flightstone conversion was NOT previously disclosed and IS a total surprise. And a very bad one. I spent the last several weeks getting flightstones for all THIRTEEN of my characters under the assumption that “flightstones are flightstones” since Blizzard did not call them Dream Flightstones vs. Shadow Flightstones. I have been planning on using many of them to continue upgrading my Season 2 gear to heroic for transmog. Now I can’t. In other words, Blizzards lack of clear communication until the DAY OF THE PATCH caused me to spend many hours on a worthless endeavor. Talk about not respecting the players time!

It appears that item upgrades are indeed turned off for season 2 gear even though season 2 isn’t over. Would have been really nice to gotten some warning.

Anyone got any gold for the flight stones they had prior to 10.2? Not seen any gold sent to my characters after I logged in and I knew what I had before the patch.

Why is the Season 2 Catalyst disabled as well? It’s impossible to get Season 2 tier, it’s impossible to upgrade Season 2 items at all.
Why make it hard to switch characters or come back to the game during the post-season week, the week that people are most likely to be switching characters or coming back to the game?

All of my crests, fragments and flightstones are just completely gone. I didn’t get any gold and I also don’t have any grey items in my inventory. What happened?
Welp, I guess that answers my question from two weeks ago in the first patch thread and also the other day in this thread.
I really hope they allow us to upgrade Season 2 gear somehow in the future. I was a little over halfway upgrading all 13 of my alts’ tier sets for additional colors…and it just feels bad to have that removed from the game completely without any notice whatsoever. I know I’m not the only one who’s been asking about this for weeks. =/
