I have an item in my bag, Unburdened Hammer of the Fireflash, Item level 95, Requires level 51, 1 handed mace, uncommon (green). I acquired it during some questing in Shadowlands and did not need it, sent to my enchanter for disenchanting.
However, when I attempt to disenchant the item I am told:
This item cannot be disenchanted
This item should be disenchant-able so I’m submitting a bug report.
Having the same problem. A ton of quest reward and random green and blue junk that I want to disenchant, and none of it is disenchantable.
Same with me, I have a bunch of BoE items and quest rewards that cannot be disenchanted. I dropped enchanting and picked it back up and still cannot.
I am having the same issue too, no one in-game seems to know why. I even had other players try to disenchant my items with no luck. 
Same here Any help Would be nice
The only thing I can think of that is different between this character and others is it was boosted a few months back. Not sure if your characters were boosted.

It seems like SL items with ILvl under 100 are problematic this way.
Maybe they’re tired of Enchanters doing what enchanters have always done, and leveling by DE’ing their own items and quest rewards, a nd other stuff sent to them.
But thats strange because I was able to at least disenchant a couple of low level items and hour ago and I hadn’t leveled yet today, strange.
I also have this problem, but I noticed that I can de my own items but items that are sent to me I can’t. Even if it is from my alt.
I’m having this same issue on my enchanter. I was able to disenchant similar items earlier this week, but now cannot. Any Shadowlands items with IL under 100 now have the message “cannot be disenchanted”. I submitted an in-game ticket, but got a non-response with just a link to the generic forum page.
Well I’m Glad to see others having the same problem as me. I can DE my own tailoring gear but not low level green gear received by killing mobs or gear rewards. I did write a ticket and bug report Guess I’ll just wait for it to be fixed…
This must be a recent change, I didn’t have this issue last week on my druid DEing low items before changing to a different profession. I know for a fact I was able to disenchant the items from the multiple rares in bastion…the hologram ones. I know because I got a couple upgraded rares to epics and disenchanted and made bank…maybe that type of stuff is why lol, though seems silly.
But yeah, looks to be items below 100
This is definitely a recent change, as I didn’t have any problems DEing all of the greens my warrior collected on my mage after I got her to Oribos to train SL enchanting. Dumb change too if we’re being honest; if it drops in SL it should be able to be DE’d.
I didn’t realize this has been reported a few times here already.
Hopefully during their 8 hour maintenance on Tuesday, they can fix this bug. Been disenchanting greens since launch day, all of a sudden today I can’t disenchant any?
Yeah, one can hope this change wasn’t intended.

Same issue here with greens found while questing, in the past it’s always been these items and trash crafting items that I’ve used to level up my enchanting.
i had the same issue than discovered if DE while in oribos it works. im not sure its intended to be like this.
