I dropped “It was not enough” (the nifflin entry quest) because one of the npc’s didn’t appear. I am able to pick it up again, but it wants me to escape the stone prison with no ability to do so. I am stuck unable to progress the intro story into the new zone.

Same here, couldn’t get the quest to work, so i abandoned, and now I can’t get the quest to re-do, because I cannot be frozen again. can’t progress through the story.

Happened to me to after the sniff didn’t do anything. Abandoned and telling me to escape when i’m already free.

This also happened to me. In-game support is not even loading so I can’t submit a ticket.

Same the quest bugged out at another part and didn’t spawn the npc, I abandoned it so I would be able to try again and now I cant get past the first part of the quest. I already broke free so the prompt wont show up again.
Support feature is broken. GG first patch day figured this would have been figured out on the PTR.

Yep, I’ve even tried abandoning in the spot you are frozen in, exiting game, then reloading in, grabbing the quest, and nothing. Total regret abandoning the quest but, TBH i don’t know how much of a difference it would have been. Maybe it’s just bugged for some.

Why is it so hard to make something that works?!?!?!
Every patch there is some idiotic mandatory quest that is broken in some way for certain people and not for others. I always seem to be unlucky and it’s infuriating. So now my friends play and I am logged off I guess. Thanks.

Check your UI. There’s an extra action button. It’s possible you can’t see it because it’s on top of another UI element.

I clicked on the other things just fine but one will not allow me to click and since you have to click every single thing following the npc to the next hole or whatever you can’t complete it.

No, this isn’t it. This is an extremely common bug. We got the extra action button the first time we started the quest but not on the following times.
This is not the answer. Not only was I able to do it the first time before dropping it, I also used the command typed into chat in case it was hidden.

Also. Quest at the end of this first tunnel said to follower the Honey dude. He didnt move and wouldnt do anything, so I abandoned. Instead of offering the quest again, he ported himself back to the beginning and is trying to offer me the crystal prison quest again, even though I already did it and am free from the prison…
