I don’t even know what you are talking about or if you even understood what i said.
What was made up? Blizzard openly states their MAUs putting it below the worst point in Warlords, combined with lower revenue, as well as API sources such as RaiderIO showing a decline in activity.
You ok, bud?
Which MMO because I’m currently posting on the WoW forums lol. I mean yeah, WoW is dying, I won’t argue with that.
4. The WoW active population is less than five million.
(Source: Statista)
The last time Blizzard gave official figures was in 2015. Back then, the official active subscriber count was at 5.6 million. Projections suggest that the number of active players should have fallen to around 4.6 million by 2022 , though it’s hard to say for sure how accurate the estimates proved to be.
As you probably know, there are game servers people use to host WoW sessions. Some of these servers don’t necessarily require players to have licenses, which means the number of actual players is probably higher than what this stat suggests.
All in all, we should probably take the WoW player count with a pinch of salt.
That was from Hosting Tribunal.
I don’t think even you understood what you said, if you don’t understand what I said.
? Yeah, made up numbers from using a tool to scrape the game’s own armory website?
LOL, bro I don’t think anyone actually thinks that except the people who are so mazed by this game they still think Blizzard has Wrath era metrics and refuse to face facts.
This hasn’t been true since the beginning of BFA. Parsing and logging isn’t allowed on XIV and Kihra who operated warcraftlogs, and fflogs explicitly stated fflogs was getting a lot more traffic than warcraftlogs when their raids aligned, and retail was being dumpstered by Classic traffic too. And that was with regards to Eternal Palace, not a raid people viscerally hated like Uldir.
Ok sure, i guess you indeed aren’t touching the point i made. All good.
Let’s move on.
5mil looks better than sub-1mil. i can see that being the case.
You said WoW has a massive community event like RWF, I said FFXIV didn’t need to, and then I corrected myself and said it too has RWF.
There was nothing bad about my take.
You need to remember though - subscribers doesn’t necessarily equal active players.
I was talking about OP take (is that you btw?), saying that WoW has more viewers right now than FF14 which as i said is really a dumb take.
I mentioned RWF being a factor of that is because WoW one is going on right now which means it will obviously drag more viewership to the game in Twitch.
I didn’t know either that FF14 has a RWF even either, it will probably attract viewership and maybe even put FF14 viewership over WoW for a while. Does that mean OP’s take gonna be wrong there?
At the end my point is, WoW has one of his biggest events RIGHT NOW while FF14 does not so it shouldn’t be a surprise that one has a bigger viewership.
It’s like compairing a regular season match to the finals in any sport.
wow will always>>>>other mmos just accept it
Oh! I apologise. I thought you were talking to me. I couldn’t see a reply picture in your post and it came after mine.
Sorry mate.
WoW will always point you in the direction of other MMO’s?
Couldn’t agree more.
wowkillrrs today are as brave as the wowkillers of 2012. Remember Rift? “we’re not in Azeroth anymore” ?
maybe in 2032… better luck next time with FFXXVI
I’m gonna bookmark this post and we’ll be chatting again in a year, promise.
Most of the FF servers are still at capacity.
They are maximally successful. They are at the current cap of potential successfulness. They can’t succeed more than they are right now. They had to stop selling the game for 2 months because there was quite literally no more room for new players to play the game.
I’m not even sure what a “wowkiller” is. FF14 was never a wowkiller, it was just there doing it’s own thing and growing year after year.
Everquest is still around and hell, FF11 is still around, still with a sub, and actually about to get a new event soon lol. Both of them are older than WoW.

you’re welcome.
LOL wasn’t this the site that was so thoroughly debunked by this community when it was showing WoWs player count took a nosedive of over half it’s players leaving over Shadowlands?
It’s a recurring source of enjoyment to me how quickly WoW forums turn hypocrite.
(Side note: This shows WoW players dropping to ONE MILLION… from THREE MILLION You should not be proud of that.)
I’m not sure why you are linking that when it clearly states FF14 has more players. Not only that, it supports my original statement of WoW only having somewhere around a million players lol.
I’m…not sure RoboKappa realised what they were linking.
Just looked, and yep it still shows Wildstar having had 13,000 players back in February, but only on February 25th… which is even weirder.
SO ACCURATE!
