He’s a streamer. If there is ANYTHING you should take away from the last year of streaming, its that outrage gets clicks. Streamers will do ANYTHING to stay relevant, including bashing the game they play 12 hours a day, because for some reason idiots who watch them get off on that.

Well yea.

Elden Ring is just a better designed package.

WoW always have several long strings attached for the full experience.

ITT people blaming streamer but bring up stream viewer count to prove his point.

Yeah because it was demonstrably false to anybody who was even remotely acquainted with high end raiding. He was guessing the exact workings of mechanics he hadn’t even seen yet that took the community days to figure out because some of the ways to resolve them aren’t obvious. They weren’t even at the point of seeing E8S’s final mechanic and he just randomly guesses EXACTLY what it is and EXACTLY how it works.

Like anyone who did World of Darkness knew the clouds were slowed by standing on them, that’s not exactly intuitive, your instinct is to run from them and get out of their way. He just randomly decides to walk right into its path and in half a second is 100% certain that’s how you deal with it. As someone who skipped World of Darkness entirely therefore never seeing that mechanic and just knowing instantly how to resolve it is sketchy af to most.

Or the Warrior of Light fight. There are not many bosses that have unique interactions with LB. You can count them on one hand. When his group drops the LB, Max is oddly super confident that nothing will happen and the boss will randomly immune with his apparently sixth sense for raid mechanics. However, while that would be a fair guess to make, the kicker was the following:

The boss when they did it was cast-locked. Normally when you LB him he goes immune for 8 seconds or so. However, if the boss is presently casting a spell, he can’t do this. The LB hit when the boss was cast-locked. You could deliberately see the boss lost a fair chunk of health and Max is saying “Yeah it didn’t even do anything” when it visibly just did, as if he was expecting it wouldn’t do anything, then kind of overplayed his hand by not even checking if it did anything or not, he just “knew” it shouldn’t have done any damage.

even if the game had other launcher , there are less players playing the game on Steam than before , it’s not normal , people are quitting the game , it’s the trend

I feel like you and Ragman are arguing the same side against each other…

The steam trend is people come back for the patch then wonder off to play other games when they finish the MSQ and other things that interest them. Its has ZERO data for the majoirty who play VIA the Launcher

He just assumes 100% of the people playin FF14 are threw Steam, thats how delusional this guy actually is.

i never said 100% of players are playing through Steam but what/ever :joy:

it’s just 1 element you can use , like WOW content creators using M+ participation to define how much subs have wow
