It took less than a year for FF14 hype to die

And also, I’m responding to the OP, not you.

It’s not worth it.

Good then begone.

Then you’re as bad as the OP — judging something based on VERY limited data.

Doesn’t matter. You’re opinion is bad. I don’t care about you and I don’t have anything to justify to you. And as someone who post from a level 10, you should be quiet instead of typing me such things. LMAO

And you’re a chubby girl called Francis, your point?

Oh. You’re a Troll. K, I’ll see myself out. :peace_symbol:

Bye Karen, wait… Francis the Karen!

Yes i’m lvl 10 and you are lvl 50 , it’s the same , you don’t play the game

That you don’t know. Go away noob.

You got competition

Steam deck :sunglasses::sunglasses:

Yeah I did mention that somewhat. New content comes out, big spike in players, and then afterwards the player base returns to normal and plateaus, which is fine. Idk I just said I haven’t seen a big increase in players. I could totally be wrong, I didn’t look into it much. FFXIV definitely isn’t dead though, I know that much

It still doesn’t have any of the Nintendo games. PS4 / Xbox all share PC ports.

Such a huge loss not releasing breath of the wild in other ports

I always wanted to try that game

And there we have it. Nothing to say, just want to flex.

They are both good for what they are.

It’s not dead though, actually right now it’s pretty popping people are trying to make cash, clean up storylines etc. It did slow, but even the devs are cool with that. Every MMO has this happen, you are never getting content every day.

I just finished a duty for this event going on right now. This is another thing I love about FF. I get excited to play with new players. You get this side journal of activities you can do weekly. When you play with people new to the duty (dungeon), you get bonus rolls for that book.

I just don’t like the global cooldown. I know there’s abilities you can weave through but it feels so slow.

Also the game is based around instanced content but there isn’t mythic+. There also isn’t any borrowed power and little difference between players from lack of choices.

I think ff14 should copy WoW when it comes to endgame and I think WoW should copy ff14 when it comes to telling a story

The person whom you bought the token from will get gold.

I’m not going to stick up for either game. You do know even during the hype train wow still beat ffxiv in viewership.

Also there are a lot of people that don’t watch twitch. If we go by your metric only 56k people play wow and only 2k play ffxiv.

Yeah it dies pretty fast after a patch. Once people do the story and new content a couple times they nope out.

Unless it’s one of those weirdos that will spend 24/7 logged in and afk in a major city.

FFXIV has quality…but little quantity… Not a lot of replayability outside of the gear treadmill

The Eb and Flow of MMO populations honestly means very little. It is a fickle audience that plays whatever is new. Right now the world first is happening, so everyone is on WoW. When something happens in FF, everyone will be in FF. When something happens in Lost Ark…Etc. Etc. You get the idea.

It means nothing, MMO loyalty is all but vanished, lol.
