It took less than a year for FF14 hype to die

It’s all lip service. Why would they “expand servers” when their game just dies mere weeks after an expansion drop?

Another person that doesn’t understand how Steam charts work.

WOW have many servers so they don’t have problem on expansion release :sunglasses:

the dead servers atm were well populated at the start of the Shadowlands

They don’t have a problem on expansion release because hardly anyone is playing the game.

Nah dude you ain’t a streamer :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Shadowlands was way bigger than Endwalker , the game had 7M5 players the first months , broke sales record , you are trolling me stop

I believe you mean Cyberpunk broke sales records.

That’s fine, just seems weird to pay for a game you don’t play and also post on its forum.

But maybe the sub fee is worth it for the past time entertainment the forums provide.

:slightly_smiling_face:

I don’t know what I could be misunderstanding here

Sabbia is a millionaire

A steam chart doesn’t say anything about sub numbers lol.

Shadowlands broke records sales from every last expansion and is the second fastest seilling pc game of all time :sunglasses:

Second, yes. No one cares about second place.

noway

the second fastest seilling

Weird, for a game with such good sales numbers, it sure does have a ton of dead servers.

Yet actual player base is the other way around

Yes because the expansion giga peaked at the start and died from terrible patchs

Yeah I suppose not. But it does show the active average player count, which is a quite nice 20k+. Of course that’s not taking account of FFXIV players who don’t use Steam, which I’d say is probably more based on how everyone recommends using the launcher instead of Steam. But my point is the active players at any given time, based on Steam numbers alone, have dropped. So I believe it’s safe to assume the same would be for launcher players

Because the game is trash.
