It only takes 2-3 weeks to buy a full resilience set

Why exactly are people complaining about the honor rate? I would be very upset if Blizzard ruined the integrity of TBC: Classic by enacting a change that absolutely kills the integrity of the game. If you don’t like The Burning Crusade, why are you playing it? 2-3 weeks for a full set of gear that will last you months is NOTHING. That is the perfect amount of grind for something that is valuable.

Don’t mix the queue problem with the honor problem. If you can’t get into BGs its because you picked the min-maxing faction.

PLEASE can we keep the integrity of The Burning Crusade with no more changes? Thank you.

Zoomers wanna be able to log into this game from their phone and get PVP armor while they’re on the toilet. They don’t understand the progression of an old school MMO (And WoW is pretty casual for one). To be blunt: they thought they did, but they didn’t. They should be ignored and possibly shamed at every opportunity

You ARE NOT farming a full set of blue pvp gear in 3 weeks bud

I thought Zoomers used socks and leftover milk cartons. Do they even know what toilets are?

Post on your Classic main, or your opinion is invalid.

the problem is due to bug with huge honor in prepatch some people farmed 100k honor in 1 day, and were able to buy 1/2 of all the resilience gear.
people that didnt play in prepatch are undergeared and vurnable in arenas. or worse cant even find a partner because you have no resilience

I’m going to do some number crunching tomorrow but I think your correct. No way this is possible in 2-3 weeks.

Where is your breakdown of how this grind takes 2-3 weeks op?

I hit 70 two weeks ago and have been poop socking it for honor gear since. Apart from maybe 4 hours of doing some arena games, every hour has been spent either in queue, or in a bg. I currently have 9 days 3 hours at lvl 70. That’s 219 hours. I have just finished collecting all of the honor gear (except for one weapon).
I also went into TBC with 63k honor and a bunch of marks. 63k honor would probably take about 5 days of playing time to collect on horde.
So I’m going to say as a very rough estimate, as a horde player starting their honor grind from scratch, it would take at least about 14 days /played. 330ish hours.
So someone who can play about 30 or so hours per week, will get the gear in about 10 weeks, give or take.
This is my experience anyway, as horde on OCE.

Well that’s an easy fix by just playing arena with friends

2-3 weeks if you win every game and play 12 hours a day maybe

Bet?

300 * 15 * 5 * 9 = 202500 honor
im making on avg 300honor per AV less with other bgs less, 15 bgs in 1 day max, 5 days a week, 9 weeks play = 200k honor

If you join a premade you can make upwards of 2-3k honor per bg. Do the math on that.

its 500 honor av win max, wtf u talking 2-3k

i think he means if you premade a wsg and stall the flag for 2-3 hours… farming honor at gy, its the only way i see that as remotely possible.

I’m going to do my own numbers cause I gotta see it for myself for some reason

If it takes 300 hours, at 2 hours a day, that’s 150 days or 20 weeks. Seasons last like 4 months? That’s about 16 weeks

If I play 4 hours a day, that’s 75 days. Or 11 weeks.

This doesnt include time spend gold farming for gems/enchants. Or time spent rep grinding/ attunements since I’d like to pve too.

ha 2-3 hrs what a waste of time, u can win AV in 6-7 minutes

They seem to think they can get BiS from dungeons and raids quickly, too.

Apparently they never played the original and didn’t have that experience of running the same heroic over and over just to get one item.

1 or 2 pieces of pvp gear a week is a pretty good rate. Thats how ot was in S1 originally.

Yes. It takes 2-3 weeks /played to buy the resil set. That’s why we’re complaining.
