it seems that they raised level requirements for at least the head and leg enchants, it also looks like the +7 damage scope on my crossbow does not work anymore either. not necessarily a horrible thing, if it helps levelers feel more competitive with the brackets being combined but it does seem that some form of compensation would be in order.
the compensation is that you can play with everyone else

This change happened in OG wrath, safe to assume it would happen again.
hmm i didn’t know that. i always thought i played the wrath expansion but i am finding i don’t remember any of this stuff, i must have quit after TBC or i was so casual at that point i wasn’t paying attention.
The leg enchant change along with other item enhancements was a wrath change, I too had forgotten this until recently, along with so much else lmao

Sad. Blizzard just doesn’t want people to excel in this game through hard work and creativity.
ROFLMAO you’re kidding right, they do nothing they get run through stuff that they themselves can not do. I know i twinked 19 and 29 big time back in the day. The hardest part was getting someone to do the runs with you. Now its 100x easier as there is no xp with high levels in with you … sounds like it just got a TON easier.

I remember the leg enchant change. I dont remember the head enchant. U mean u cant have a high level put a libram if constitution on a boe for you?
i mean, i guess you can still have them put the libram on for you, but i could have sworn that my head slot had the “+8 agility” in red and it said “requires level 40”. i think the leg enchant said requires level 50. long story short my attack power went from around 550 to 490-something. still pretty effective.
Yeah originally it was a pain. You had to start farmimg early so you would not level past when farmimg for a piece of gear. I mean evem then there were work arounds. Dont enter the dumgeon until all trash is cleared to the boss. Then run in and die to the boss. You wouldnt get experience but would still be eligible for loot. Now u can just turn off exp. And run around the open world and not worry about discovery exp also.

You can still play them and be ridiculously op’d compared to most. Those you’re not are on the same foot as you so no big.
Good. Twinking isn’t dead like it became on retail with the XP-off BGs, that’s your compensation.

Still fun to say the least 
i think it’s a fair trade, it also lowers the bar so i can play more classes without dropping 1000’s to max them all out.
I love twinking but the leg enchants were always way too powerful. Good to see them go.
