I thought it happened in pre-patch, given there are shadowlands quest specifically about helping the new council… and the fact that SL has not really ended yet.

they’re a council now, an alliance if you will.
meanwhile The Alliance still has its warchie- I mean high king.

We have many councils now
Our solo leaders die constantly, so it’s one of those higher chance to survive as a group

Yeah but they keep appointing warchiefs. First Vol’jin then Sylvanas took over. Is it confirmed Warchief is no more?
