It makes absolutely no sense that a person with a 486 BIS crafted cloak can come into a normal raid and roll need on a 454 cloak. Or that a person with a 489 M+ 1H can roll need on a 457 1H INT dagger.

Yes it does. They were there for the kill and they have the ability to roll.

Why is this so hard to understand

I’ve tried to avoid posting here with ‘axes to grind’ but this is just stupid. Personal Loot often sucked but it feels a hell of a lot better to just not get an item, over losing an item I need to someone that already has something vastly better

PL doesn’t change this at all. How about instead of being salty someone won a roll you learn how the loot systems actually work.

Dragonflight has emerged as a surprisingly great expansion, but bringing back Group Loot was a massively dumb decision, made by people who either don’t have a clue what it’s like to run in PuGs or don’t care I about those of us who do. And it is infuriating.

Actually it was a great decision considering Pl was being removed either way.
