It Is Not Fun--I'm done

Even if that’s what he wants, I don’t see any problem. I heard that in 3 weeks is the next season.

M+ and R+ need to go.

Remember when I did over a hundred Scholomances before seeing Lightforge Helm drop? Remember when I lost the first three that dropped to other Paladins?

Coldridge Farm remembers.

For our sake I hope that is true, but I feel like it will be march -which is not too bad. spring break inc.

Why can I hear a violin playing when reading this?

Bye. Find a game you like and take care.

I cannot say I’ve been that invested in Warcraft ever, but there was a time, in my prime days of 1999…where I literally ran through all of Golden Eye N64 to get every cheat code. Probably thousands of attempts to get a perfect score

Same for Donkey Kong 64. Now? If I cannot kill Zekvir in 10 tries, I move on because despite following guides some things expect Perfect choreography. Same for mage tower. I’m not that person anymore and I am not getting upset over doing endless dungeons for minimal or no rewards due to RNG.

It’s like getting a rare mount. I attempt a few here and there, but often I just don’t care enough and forget about them completely until I did the anniversary mount off

Most people don’t care about stats anyway. I’m not a world first streamer. Nope, just a hot garbage welfare geared tourist out there smelling the roses being so bad at the game I get told on occasion to just uninstall because I picked the wrong talents or died in a comp stomp

:dragon: :ocean: :dragon: :dragon:

Not fast enough for this season.

This season blows.

Well, it does only involve 4 dungeons and 12 raid bosses. It’s kind of small.

I don’t think you know what a treadmill is, friend.

Have you considered being better?

Yeah the gearing is really badly designed right now, because you can basically only get mythic track gear from the great vault if you focus on M+, which means unless you starting getting it every week from week 1 you can’t catch up. Makes it very anti-alt because you’ll be weeks or months behind the curve on the great vault. Also a problem because even if you start getting mythic gear from week 1, they might do a patch that wrecks the balance and depreciates your class (i.e., with paladin tanks getting comically buffed and invalidating all the other tanks), and then you’re SOL with no way to catch up.

I love these airport goodbyes.

You don’t need to announce your departure buddy. Just go past that door and be gone because nobody here knows you and are already a step ahead in forgetting you.

You should however tell your lil discord friends probably? People that cares.

Also you’re wrong.

Unless you literally run three different guilds and raid groups and mythic raid 6 days out of 7 for 3 hours each night. And each is lucky enough to get one or two pieces of gear right off the bat sure but. Really…really ? That’s a lot of effort

Yeah mythic raiding is really the only way to catch up on mythic track gear, but expecting people to do that for alts is ridiculous. The gear track system is very anti-alt as currently designed, which really limits the game.

Even for mains, if you focus on M+ and you take a week off or don’t start the season for 2 weeks or something, you are now behind the curve and can never catch up except by mythic raiding due to the great vault time lock.

This is also toxic because you need to be getting mythic great vaults from week 1, but if you want your alts not to fall behind you also need to do it on them, so you’re expected to level up multiple characters immediately and grind them through M+ in 1 week or one or all of them will be behind the curve for the rest of the season. If you choose to focus on one character, e.g. a prot warrior, if blizzard blows up the balance and makes prot paladins OP 3 weeks into the season, congrats, even if you reroll one you’re now behind the gear curve for the rest of the season unless you mythic raid.

“it’s not fun when I have to actually play the game”

Not even top 100 teams run more than two alts and that’s only to switch if the meta shifts or the team needs a different comp

My point is that expecting to have more than one alt as geared as your main right of the bat is dumb and silly. Game is not made that way

Asking for the game to accommodate multiple alts so the can all be endgame ready at the same time. Is crazy specially if you want to make mplus the fix lol

This is wow. Everyone takes a break no matter what content your doing or running. You have too. It gets to intense at times and if you dont, you will end up hating it. I took a few years off. I started right be4 BC came out. Now, that was the hard days of the game. The map was not uncovered, it was blank. No assistance from the mini-map or arrow to let you know to go on quests, etc that they give you now. No account-wide stuff. So think about from that perspective. We walked everywhere. We had no mounts to ride until level 40. THEN FAST @ 60. Thats going way back. This just examples. So its not stressful now to me. So maybe take some of this and think on this from the old schoolers. I could be here all day listing things we had to do to survive that wasn’t given to us. We had to make it, literally to play our toon. If we didnt you couldn’t play, we had to forge mats, example here what i did w/ my 1st toon-hunter. If you didn’t make enough arrows, and u ran out of mats, and even had a quill then well you did hand to hand combat. Yeah, that was also a skill to learn in the game as well, for all toons. It was fun as hell back then, frustrating, draining, hard work, but i can play with the best of them because of doing of all that. Each to their own, i know but realize that others had it harder than others coming into this game and were still here and we coped with it.

Take breaks. Simple.

Yep sounds like we agree.

Its in fact a place to announce our frustration
