It is always raining in Stormwind

For some reason, every time I come to Stormwind it is constantly pouring rain. I thought it might be from a quest so I flew around doing the Legion and BFA quests hoping that would fix it, but it did not. Is there a way to fix this?

Does this happen to apply to you? It is sort of quest related but can be a few different quests it looks like.

I have never attempted the hive mind questline and to my knowledge I already completed that other quest.

This can also be caused by a lingering weather aura, a script that causes a specific weather pattern, from a completed scenario or quest that just never went away. I don’t believe doing random quests would fix it unless they overrode an already-existing weather aura with their own, but that is assuming that that is your problem. I would submit a ticket so a GM can look at your character.

Is this still happening to you, Magmamane? If so, is this on a different character? I checked your posting character and didn’t see any rain in Stormwind.

i am having this problem in Stormwind for the last 6+ months, i have never done hive mind. it’s super depressing to be in Stormwind.

character is onemoredrink on whisperwind.

Also, be mindful of the age of the thread. It is better to try the methods within an old thread but make a new one describing your problem if the information provided did not solve your problem.

It looks like your issue is the third sample in the link Mirasol originally provided.

Alternatively, for Alliance characters who completed the quest The Fallen Lion but did not pick up and complete the following quest, the rain state will not clear up until you go back to Stormwind and complete Demons Among Us and any quests that follow it.

You have Demons Among Us available in Stormwind Keep, you’ll want to finish those quests.
