My guild and I were trying to change a boss in BWD to Heroic mode and it wouldn’t change so we decided to leave the instance and try changing now. Now we can’t get in it’s telling us “You are ineligible to participate in at least one encounter in this instance because you are already locked to an instance in which it has been defeated.” Now we can’t get back in… please Blizzard fix this bug. This happened to us the other night in Bastion of Twilight as well!!!

It’s not a bug. You can only do Normal or Heroic
It’s not because we’ve been doing some bosses on Normal and some on Heroic…that’s the point of this xpac.

Boss Based Raid Lock system: Allowing players to do either the 10 or 25-player raid version of each boss in the same week. Lockouts are based on individual boss.

My guild has killed heroic and normals in the same lockout.

Then either it was different in OG or it’s different from what was initially announced
OG cata you were able to do heroics and swap back and forth between the modes, but not 25/10.
People telling you you’re wrong and you’re still combative is hilarious

I literally just said then some wires were crossed somewhere. That’s not combative that’s “oh I’m misinformed then”

Had this happen two weeks in a row for BWD. Twice we haven’t been able to do heroic prog because we have to rekill bosses and then can’t set it back to heroic.
This is happening to us right now, we had an accidental pull on Chimaeron 25H, then when running back a few raiders could not zone back in. We’ve tried re-forming the raid group on different people, also have tried zoning in on 25N and then swapping to heroic, but a few raiders still have a different ID than the one we started with. Not very fun to get stuck while working on heroic prog, this has happened to us 3 weeks in a row
