I have run into an issue with the Battle.net launcher. It is no longer showing any news or info about World of Warcraft. All I am getting is a massive spam ad for the Battle.net Mobile app. I have tried reinstalling the Battle.net launcher, but this didn’t seem to help. If you have any suggestions or ideas on how to restore the launcher so I can get news and info about World of Warcraft back, I am open to any help that folks can offer. Thanks!
Hm, I haven’t seen anyone else with this crop up (posting here, at least).
Have you tried maybe going in and running on the beta release?
- Go into your settings:
- Go down to the Beta option on the left-side panel, and “Switch to Beta”:
It’ll be a newer release of the launcher, perhaps that’ll be enough to nudge it out of whatever blip it’s stuck in.
Thank you for the reply. I just woke up from a nap, so I tried restarting my launcher again, and poof it works now. If you search google for ‘Battle.net Mobile App’, I was getting the page for the result “Battle.net Mobile App - Blizzard Entertainment” loading onto my launcher. I’m guessing that wasn’t supposed to happen. Thank you again for your idea and feedback.
