UI not updating on one character

Hi All, could anyone please help me with this issue. My UI is not updating in real-time on only one of my characters. If I’m doing a quest the quest log on the side shows the quest but doesn’t update properly to reflect the progression (for example 4/12 rats killed), even though physically I am still getting credit for the quest. If the quest requires a usable item to intact with a quest objective I can only use that item once from the side quest list before it no longer responds to being clicke…
