Isekai'ed into WOW, what character are your?

I’d probably go with the reluctant, self-doubting trope that refuses to accept he is any kind of savior or even a good person. Kind of like Thomas Covenant from the first three Stephan R. Donaldson books.

I don’t know if I’d want to be my main Grymauch here… or my alt Demon Huntress.

On the one hand… Divine magic, no real change in the beard department, and instant-race change from Kul Tiran back to Human.

On the other hand… 7 foot tall Amazonian Elf-woman who delights in slaughtering Demons DoomGuy style.

I’d probably go with the Elf. How many opportunities does a guy get to see the other side, and to slaughter demons while doing so?

Depends.

Do I still have access to my gold on other characters?

I’ve been what now?

While everyone else that gets ran over by a truck and gets reborn into WoW as a “hero of legend”, Id be the one unfortunate enough to be reborn as a level 3 defias thug, forever in an endless cycle of death and rebirth as heirloom clad young heroes one shot me…

None of them. I wouldn’t need to be reborn into anywhere as I wouldn’t have gotten myself killed trying to save a child. Let the child’s parents do it, let the truck driver swerve or stop, let the child run out of the way, or the kid goes splat.

You my little gremlin, are the worst kind of Death Knight…

Umm. Hopefully not Felsavior as I dont wont be blind…or a woman.

I’d want it to be either:

A Kultiran rogue or warrior, or a Mechagnome warrior or mage.

I’d be reborn as an Orc monk. Dragonmaw style.

That’s hard, given my luck though I’d be reborn as a Murloc or something and then die… repeatedly.

Everyone knows that Isekai means stupid god mode and groan inducing harems, so clearly we all are male human paladins.

The mother looks on in horror, a never-ending screaming echoing from her lips, and the Father sprinting for all he can knowing he will be too late but refusing to allow reality to stop him.

The dreadful screetch of tires protesting against asphalt and steel breaks grinding against each-other violate your ears in a never-ending cacophonie of inevitability as you look on at the horror about to happen.

At the fateful moment you close your eyes, but you do not hear the impact. In shock you stare at a world frozen in time. There is a squirrel in mid-leap between roof-tops above you, trees frozen in the wind and before you a little girl slowly turns her head towards you as opposed to the oncoming truck.

“You could have stopped this. You could have prevented this. This senseless death, with your own.”

“This is just nature taking its course.” You reply, “How is my life for hers any different?”

“Had you taken the choice given to you, you would have been rewarded in the after life. Your sacrifice would have brought great meaning to this child. She would have devoted her life to making certain that her rescue was never in vain, and she would have done great things in this world, and now she will not.”

“Or, She would have become the next Khan Singh… Star Trek did that argument better.”

There was a slight smile from the child.

“Very well… I will give you a chance to learn the value of life… and I think I have the appropriate venue, for you.”

With alarming suddenness the world returned to normal, and the last thing he remembered before an eternal darkness was an uncovered man-hole that hadn’t been there before, swallowing up the tire of the truck and causing it to flip rather theatrically over the child and land atop him.

With difficulty he opened his eyes, though the world looked… wrong… there was a green tint, and he saw not the world but… the idea of the world. The shape of… souls?

He heard an angry, raspy voice as a boot informed him that he still had ribs and that they could still feel pain.
“Get up, Slayer, we have a world to burn!”

One of my Goblin Girls.

If I am going to be reborn, I want to be cute.

It doesn’t HAVE to be that way, Writers for those kinds of settings just happen to be VERY lazy and formulaic, and in alot of cases terrible at writing coughswordartonlinecough.
Sorry had to clear my throat, I said Sword Art Online.

The world would not have frozen for me. There would not have magically been a manhole, I do not believe in an afterlife. I would not risk my life to save the child. This is the real world, not a fairy tale.

I am not sure if that counts as Isekai though as they were technically still in their world, but just trapped playing a virtual reality game.

Probably, but I think I’ve seen several people call it that which is probably what made me think of it.

I don’t need it. I am not a fool. I am not going to get killed for some brat. I pity anyone who is that stupid that they would.
