Me I would pick Mary, as she is my alter ego in game. She even shares my IRL name. Plus I wish I was a size 8 Elf. Instead of the massive Orc/KT build I actually have.

There are merits to becoming more fantasy-ish alts but I think it’d be pretty great to be a relatively boring human mage. You can make your own food, teleport vast distances, take advantage of close connections to other powerful magi, get along with others better than average (diplomacy), blend in with commoners easily if needed, and generally do whatever the heck you want so long as you aren’t a power monger or exceptionally disruptive.

hello yes i get isekai’d as gaahr and i almost immediately piss everyone off because everyone in the universe expects me to be the most amazing druid ever and fight all of azeroth’s evils but all i would do is get drunk and spam heal people who are perfectly healthy

You realize that the Isekai genre is all about being the Main Character Mary Sue/Marty Stu in a fantasy world. You’d be Kirk not the nameless walk in red shirt. Also you would be OP.

As to the Truck-kun bit in my post, many of the LN and manga start with the MC being hit by a truck, sending them to the God of a fantasy world. There even is a manga told from the Truck Drivers POV where he runs a business sending heroes to fantasy worlds.
Once you start reading/watching Isekai it’s hard to stop. They can be very addicting, kind of like Fan Fiction only better.
