Is WoW too Bloated and/or complicated?

For me not really, as an active player when exp and patch drops i can be confused with so much info but that only lasts a day or two, after that i catch on quickly.

But for new players i cant imagine how confused they are, i mean i had some friends who came to current wow after multiple years of experiance in wotlk and i had to show them most of the stuff. There should be some kinda learning system for new people, because wow needs them with its ever aging playerbase, maybe make a free version of wow dedicated to learning up to certan level(no exile reach is not enough), or have people assinged who are live in game to help groups of new people out and answer any of their questions, i think there was something simmilar to this in start of Shadowlands.

There is a bloat of uneccesary stuff for sure, Sl gear upgrade system was simple enough, you earn valor and your m+ raiting gates your upgrades, from that we moved to 5 currencies for upgrading somehow. Also some classes need to chill with button bloats, having a complicated rotation is not bad but add all other utlity spells to it and u have 30 spells u have to mesmerise to press at any given moment. They should really make playing any class more accesible and user friendly.

Complicate: No
Unnecessary: Yes

I’ve always believed in the KISS principle. And no, I’m not talking about the band. I’m talking about the phrase “Keep It Simple, Stupid.” Whether we’re discussing currency, reputation/renown, class design, gear design/choices, or abilities, the same should apply, with a reasonable nod towards utility and fun.
